I've started using coupons for the first time in my life, and using fuel perks to save on gas.  I generally am able to get 20 gallons a month for about $10 - $15.  That alone saves us between $50- $60 a month

I had a lot of problems with them when Radio Loyalty first showed up, but I haven't had any problems with them lately.

My son and I both play video games  - all the time.   I've been a gamer since my parent's brought home pong in the 70's, and we've had every system since, so I don't see any reason to make him stop playing.   My son just managed to graduate high school with a 4.65 GPA, and multiple awards in technology.   There are a lot of careers out there that they claim gaming is a big help in.  Unless he is failing in school, or being really sullen and rude to you, I say - let him play.

I play video games at the end of the day.  Generally I come home from work and kill zombies.

I would think that nursing would have a variety of ways you can help people, which would keep it from getting boring after a few years.   But you are also less likely to have to hold someone's hand while they die as a dental tech.  That's what it would boil down to for me.  No matter how good the Doctors and Nurses are, people die.  If that's what you choose.  Let me thank you in advance for all the people you will be able to help.   I couldn't do it.

I like salty snacks most of the time - but chocolate is a close second.  I'm a firm believer that if I eat enough preservatives now, it will save my son embalming fee's when I die.

I play occasionally - but have never won anything.   I don't think I've ever even gotten 2 numbers.

I dropped my insurance two years ago.  Now if I have to go to the doctor, I call them and tell them that the last time I was in with insurance they were paid $23 from the insurance company plus my $20 copay.   I ask if they are willing to take $50 cash up front for the same visit which will save them both payroll expense and having to wait to get paid.

On the other side of things, I have dropped four insurances this year alone, and I do offer a discount to the patients who want to continue coming to my office -then they can file for reimbursement from the insurance company themselves.

I used to consider myself an extrovert, but after working with people for 29 years, I definitely have become an introvert.

I'm most excited about Star Trek.   It's probably the only one I'll see in the theatre.
