Yes, I have. I hold on to the items for two or three years though. The ones that give me the ugly figurines and such randomly stop by and want to see where the gift is on the shelf. It wouldn't bother me as much if that was only done on their first visit after giving me the gift, but several times throughout the year is annoying.

I dread when my mom gets clothing for me. I appreciate that shes thinking of me but it is best I buy clothing on my own. I've gotten some stuff I never wore but didn't want to hurt her feelings so I didn't comment about it.

Same here. I am very picky about my clothes. This year I made a wishlist on Amazon and said any of those items will be great.

I hope I can act surprised on Christmas when I open my gift. I noticed an item missing from my mothers' wish list and was going to ask her about it since it was something she wanted. I almost bought it but picked another item. Before I could ask her she told me she purchased my gift and it was from her wish list.

*crickets*

I haven't mentioned seeing the item missing from the list.
