Debate & Discuss / Re: Star Wars vs. Star Trek
« on: January 30, 2013, 01:14:36 am »Message ID: 679361
I think it's a bit silly to compare a movie saga to a TV series and it's COMPLETLY possible to be a fan of both. I wouldn't say love because that's a strong word. People who say you can't enjoy them both equally are just trying to perpetuate their silly Stars battle.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Another Shooting In America:
« on: January 30, 2013, 01:12:21 am »Message ID: 679360
Read in a magazine that they're now installing hand held bullet proof white boards in school.

I think they had good intentions in mind when they decided new guns laws were a good idea I just think it's not helping. Sure background checks will cut off people with a criminal history but most of these shooters are people that are quiet and living under a rock. Or they've been bullied so much they just snap. One day they seem maybe a little estrange and next thing you know their first crime is gunning people down.

The general public have no business owning automatic anything - assault rifles, machine guns ect. There's no reason for it and it's not sensible to have in the first place. I really like the idea of limiting how much ammunition is in a clip and how many clips someone can buy too. They should also make a national registry of who bought a gun / how many clips a person purchased and things like that.

Off-Topic / Re: Soda or Pop? Where are you from?
« on: January 30, 2013, 01:04:27 am »Message ID: 679357
Weird that people would think you're not for preferring to call someone one name instead of the other. I call it soda but when I was younger I used to call it pop because it was just easier to say. You know, back when it wasn't crazy for young kids to drink soda. Now I really wish I hadn't but now I've stopped drinking it and I think I'm a lot healthier now.

Yeah I checked out one of the phone offers (I believe it was for a TV service) and I guess I had to talk to someone for 3 minutes. I got super nervous so I backed out as well, haha! I kind of wish they had a pay to call job agency, I would totally call that! It'd be nice to actually get a job that I went to school for *grumble grumble*

FusionCash / Re: Drop Box

Dropbox is an awesome file storing place if you have multiple computers and need to share documents between them (like from your PC to your tablet.) I used to use it to put e-books  onto my mp3 player until I found a faster way.

I was curious, if there a reward of some kind if we sign up for dropbox or is it just a random redirect?

Off-Topic / Re: why do parents name they kids weird names for
« on: January 30, 2013, 12:55:21 am »Message ID: 679348
Yeah some people genuinely like the name they give their kids and think it's unique and special. Or maybe they're named after one of their relatives who was very close to the parents. Sometimes I think parent's are either cruel or they thought it was clever at the time which I think is dumb to do.

Off-Topic / Re: Peppermint or Chocolate mint?

I've never really liked chocolate mint anything but sometimes I will have a junior mint. I go through a lot of peppermints if I have them but my all time favorite is spearmint.

Off-Topic / Re: How much money do you save

If I had any money to save I would. Most of my money ends up going to bills or people I owe. It really sucks but until I catch up on everything that's how it's gonna be.

Suggestions / Re: How about bringing back the paid to click other offers?
« on: January 30, 2013, 12:49:24 am »Message ID: 679339
That'd be neat if we could get paid to play sudoku, haha. I'd really like some new offers like downloading stuff and clicking ads. I can't seem to qualify for too many surveys.

My absolute favorite is when Penny gives Sheldon a napkin signed by Lenard Nemoy and he comes out with a bunch of gift baskets he had bought. All the christmas ones are pretty funny though.

Support / Re: Need Help With Surveys
« on: January 28, 2013, 08:26:21 pm »Message ID: 678710
I think most surveys are looking for a specific type of people so you just have to keep trying. It's hard to say exactly what surveyers are looking for specifically. In the mean time, you could try other offers such as the simple tasks or the registering with websites.

Off-Topic / Re: which search engine do you like the most?

For web searches I used the paid to search toolbar but for finding images I always use google, I like their layout better.

I prefer to use my debit card because I feel safer but I keep some money on hand for going to the movies and stuff like that.

Off-Topic / Re: where did you go up city or country
« on: January 28, 2013, 08:17:50 pm »Message ID: 678703
I live in rural areas and I hate it because there's not a lot to do if you're not an outdoor person. I love the city, there's so many things to do and see. I hope to move to one some day.
