Off-Topic / Re: What animal(s) do you fear most?
« on: July 22, 2014, 07:43:55 pm »Message ID: 901757
Hi,

Although I may never see one, the animal I fear most are sharks. With sharks you are at a disadvantage for its killing ability and not being aquatic. I lived in Alaska many years ago. Bears are scary. With polar bears the only protection is to get on your knees and tuck your head in your chest touching the ground. You may live. Since they are strictly carnivores if they are hungry you will probably be eaten. Some people have lived.

The only unusual shark tale I saw on the Discovery Channel years ago is concerning a great white shark. A marine biologist saw an entangled great white in a net in the Great Barrier Reef by Australia. The animal was going to die. She risked herself to free the creature, being vulnerable once she freed it. It just left. She was lucky. This is the only tale like this I have ever heard.

Payments / Re: Received My FusionCash Payment! YAY!
« on: July 22, 2014, 07:34:12 pm »Message ID: 901754
Hi,

I applied for my FushionCash payout June 30th (last day of month at night). I was informed I would receive payment July 20th to July 23rd on July 17th. I received my payout July 18th. It cleared my Paypal. It was for $68.83. I just applied for my $1 bonus. You receive this when you upload a screen shot (or picture if a check) on the payment clearing your account. You can find it by checking the "More..." link in the "Earn Cash" section here. The link is:

Good luck. Have a good night.

Off-Topic / Re: Anybody read any good books lately?
« on: July 12, 2014, 10:55:10 am »Message ID: 898952
Hi,

There are a couple of nonfiction books that are really good that I read lately. They are:

1. Clark Howard's Living Large for the Long Haul: Consumer-Tested Ways to Overhaul Your Finances, Increase Your Savings, and Get Your Life Back on Track

2. Bargain Junkie, Publisher : Andrews McMeel Publishing, LLC, Author : Korzen, Annie

Both books are regarding personal finances but give completely different advice from different angles. I found them to be helpful in my personal homelife as a homemaker.

Off-Topic / Re: What is your favorite exercise?

Hi,

I like to walk but do not do it so much. I do live in a nice area for this in the Poconos. I do recumbent cycling in the house. I have been doing it since 2007 a few times weekly. It is low impact aerobics. It has helped my breathing substantially. When I started exercising I quit smoking (using Chantix).

FusionCash / Re: Is anyone having problems with their Yahoo account? I sure am.
« on: July 11, 2014, 04:57:14 pm »Message ID: 898783
Hi,

I do not know about the 2 email accounts. It is against FushionCash's policy. Although I truly believe if you cancel your gmail account with FushionCash (not gmail) and never do any work on it why it could be a problem. But if this is the case contacting support and opening a support ticket and explaining would probably have good results.

As for your email account I do not know why. I have had my yahoo account for over 8 years (I have been with them for over 20 years under other email accounts with only 1 at a time) with my current ID with no problems ever. Since joining FushionCash over a month I have had no problems with my Yahoo account. I do not know what it could be giving you the problem.

Good luck,
Sandy

Off-Topic / Re: What color is your hair?
« on: July 08, 2014, 07:11:04 pm »Message ID: 897876
Hi,
My hair is light to medium brown. I am 46 years old. I was born with cooper colored hair. In my 30's I dyed it red and then auburn. Now if I do that my face looks older than I am. I decided in my 40's to keep it brown. I look younger than my years. I also look pretty with it that color. Although I do miss the flashy color.

Offers / Phone calls - Satellite and adult phone chat
« on: July 08, 2014, 07:04:30 pm »Message ID: 897872
Hi,

I just did 2 phone calls that I received credit for. Remember you can do 8 of these per month. Most are pretty easy. The satellite call is very very long. I am seeking satellite tv service currently. My provider came out in February but could not pick up a signal. What is crumby is that I live in a development where some people have a signal and some do not. They actually need to come out to check. The satellite prices are competitive in my area. The only downfall is if you cancel. I will need to wait until the technician comes to see if I have a signal.

With the adult chat your time goes very fast. There is barely any human contact. This is because I am a woman and the area I live in did not have any local men. What is good is that they tell you about people who were just on the phone in your area so you can still be connected with someone next time. They grant free membership and can leave a message with them if you find them interesting. Have a pen available for your membership #.

Off-Topic / Prescription help may be available
« on: July 07, 2014, 09:08:03 pm »Message ID: 897569
Hi,

My mom is elderly and she takes many medications. She is not poor enough for Medicaid but has trouble paying for her medications. I started to help her. I looked at options and found out you may qualify for patient assistance with major medication companies. They all have different rules. Some will only help if you have no coverage. Others have an income max cap. You would need to check each medication and the company that makes it. A website that helps with this is https://www.needymeds.org/index.htm

I live in Pennsylvania. I found out about this website from:

http://www.lehighcounty.org/Departments/HumanServices/MentalHealth/Children/Assistance/PrescriptionDrugHelp/tabid/758/Default.aspx

They list other prescription help programs. Most are nationwide. Doing this I have saved my mother over $140 monthly. This is the copay not what the medicine would cost at retail.

Off-Topic / Electronic organization for your life for free
« on: July 07, 2014, 08:53:57 pm »Message ID: 897568
Hi,

Most people clean out their houses and do spring cleaning. Most do not organize their financial or electronic lives. There are 2 services which help you do this. Basically, they store your pdf (& other formats) statements online. Your service usually keeps statements for the past year or two. You can store years of statements.

FileThis fetches the statements from your accounts for you. The first 6 'connections' are free. You have your own cloud. They can be found at https://filethis.com/.

Doxo is similar to FileThis but also offers storage of account information and emails. It cannot pay bills directly from their service but you can add a payment link to be taken directly to the site to pay. They can be found at https://www.doxo.com/.

Off-Topic / EpixHD free two week trial, no credit card
« on: July 07, 2014, 08:39:25 pm »Message ID: 897563
Hi,
EpixHD is a newer online station. I think you can get it on satellite or cable. They currently offer a free 2 week trial with no credit card required for sign up. They have newer and older movies. I can watch them online with my computer. Their app does not work on my generic tablet. I read about them being an alternative to Netflix or Amazon Prime.
