I loved him on Battlestar Galactica.  He was so handsome.  Sorry he's gone.  RIP, Captain Apollo.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Do you think diapers should be on food stamps?

No, you should not be able to buy diapers with food stamps.  They're not food, duh.  When I worked in day care I bought backup diapers for the babies in my class.  I bought store brand diapers from places like Family Dollar, Dollar General, and Walgreens.  They worked as well as the name brand diapers used by the parents, and they weren't too expensive.  But that was nearly 10 years ago, and everything costs more now.  If you can't afford disposable diapers, then using cloth diapers is a good idea, as several people have already pointed out.  Disposable diapers are not a necessity; parents managed for centuries without them.  All our wallets might benefit from us learning some of the old ways again.

Hi, oldbuddy.  Sorry, it IS true.  And your list proves it.  Look at it.  It's mostly penny bonuses from surveys you did not qualify for;that's how you get the penny bonuses.  That's what I was talking about; not that I don't get surveys but that I have a hard time qualifying for them.  It wasn't that way at first.  In the beginning, I qualified for quite a few surveys.  But slowly, that changed.  Maybe it will change again but for now Fusion Cash, though legit, really isn't worth the effort for me.  :(

Have you ever considered that a lot more people are now trying to make money online.   So when there are more people that fit in the same demographics as you then the surveys you'll qualify for may be filled before you get to it.
I get what you're saying, ladavia, but I believe that I'm just not the demographic the advertisers are looking for right now, not that the surveys are filled up.

Oldbuddy, you sound like a wise guru.  You should write an ebook teaching others your "secrets".  I bet it would sell really well.  But then, you probably wouldn't want all the new competition.  :)
Actually skepticism runs so high online, most people would never buy it. I have offered secrets with proof for FREE and very few download them and even fewer take action on what they learn.
Yeah, oldbuddy, you're probably right.  I still think you should give it try, though.

"It matters because it made a woman's absolute right to control her own body open to interpretation."   An absolute right to control her own body?  More absolute than the right to free speech, freedom of religion, or keeping and bearing arms, all of which liberals have no qualms curtailing, even though they're actually written in the Constitution?

"It matters because a man used women to further his own political ambitions."  And?  Politicians use all groups to further their political ambitions.  Nothing new there.

"That a medical procedure should be safe is a given.  Legal, also a given.
Rare?  Means absolutely nothing.
" It means nothing to those who deny the unborns' humanity.  But to those of us who recognize that the unborn are human beings, it means a helluva lot.

"What it does is make women less safe."  From what?

"It gives a man the idea that to murder a doctor is a righteous act."  How?

"It foments rape culture."  Oh, please!

"Safe, legal and rare is political rhetoric." True that, like most things politicians and activists say.

"My body, my choice is guaranteed by the Constitution."  It's written nowhere in that document, but not finding something in the Constitution never stopped activist judges from declaring it a constitutional right (gay marriage, anyone?).

I 100% completely agree with Old Buddy here.   What I don't understand DwanaMR is if you're that unhappy here then why are you here?  No site is going to make you rich, you have to work them all, like FC, they will add up to a decent amount of extra cash each month if you're willing to put in a little bit of effort.  It's not FC that is disqualifying you from surveys, it's the demographics that their customers are looking for.    I rarely qualify for surveys on this site and a few others but I continue to try and I appreciate that FC at least pays a penny for dq.   If FC isn't living up to your expectations you can go elsewhere and find another site that does.
Kinda testy there, aren't you Michele?  If you must know, I did leave FC for a bit and have just come back.  I know FC won't make me rich; I'm not stupid.  And I know that it's the demographic needs of their advertisers, not FC, that determine qualifications for surveys.  Again, I'm not stupid.  I am "willing to put in a bit of effort"; it's just that, right now, that effort isn't producing a high ROI.  So, right now, FC isn't worth the effort for me; but that can change.  Like I said, I qualified for surveys quite often when I first started with FC.  Hopefully, that will happen again. You can put your attitude away now.

Safe, legal and rare" was introduced into abortion language by a man, Bill Clinton.
And?  It doesn't matter who coined the term.  What matters is that it was a deceptive mantra of the "pro-choice" crowd.

I think FusionCash should offer Book Bub.  It's a site that emails you notices of the latest discounted and/or free ebooks in whatever categories you choose.  Yes, you get a LOT of emails, so you should use an email address just for BB, but the service is very useful and, best of all, free.  Not a free trial, free free.
