You're probably right, but someone has to do the surveys to keep the site going.

No cable, just a basic package that includes HBO. I mainly like it because I can watch my soaps that aired during the day at night time.

I get free hotel rooms to Vegas regularly in my email, but I don't know if that would be best for a family vacation.

I'm hating this winter, but I've only had to miss one day of work so far so I guess it hasn't been terrible. Just cold and wet outside. I'm personally sick of it.

Just do what comes natural. keep your eyes open , your ears open and take all in. Don't try to accomplish all in a day. You will learn little by little each day and it will become easier.Good luck with the job

This is pretty good advice, Brian.  Count your blessings that you found another job quickly.  Just think about being at no or reduced income for what could have been a lengthy period!  Also, is the job in the same category as your last because you will adapt quickly if it is?  Just be friendly, ask questions if you need to, make sure you're on time, and don't confide too much in anyone for awhile. Try to learn and be aware of what they call "company culture," or who, what, where, and why at the company!

Def agree with not confiding it people.  People are evil and vindictive.  Esp when a new person comes on the scene.  You might be trying to take something from them.  (rolling eyes here)

People like to try to find out all they can about you so they can flap their jaws about you to everybody else.  Seen it happen.

Yeah, I'm not confiding anything in anyone. Not doing the "office gossip" thing, although there's a ton of it in my current office. What's funny ... I guess ... is that they haven't told my staff their last day is tomorrow yet. I can only imagine how they're going to react.

I did watch some of it. My opinion is Congress is a soap opera now days. It's terrible what is going on with our elected officials. Some of them have gone off the deep end.

That is true.  Over the last 10 years our country has become such a joke.

And it is not just in the political scheme of things it is every where.  People lie.  They do whatever they can or have to to further their own agenda.  To get themselves ahead.

OR they just flat out lie because they dislike someone.  And you get judged for everything from how you look, to the color of your skin, to how much you weigh, any physical medical issues you may have, whatever. People over all are just evil mean vindictive beings who pretty much do not care about anything but themselves.

It is a sad sad world we are living in.

And all this political crap just seems to be making things worse because it is just one more reason for people to hate.

The country is a joke. I'd move if I didn't like my home so much.

I tried it. I thought it was good, but it was recently that I found out soda was causing me anxiety so it definitely can't be an every day thing.

I always use my credit card for the rewards. I hate the people that write out a check and hold up the line. Lol

I have 3 meals a day, but my breakfast is literally just a yogurt and my lunch is a frozen meal. They're around $2 at my grocery store. I'd rather pay that than $8 at the deli in my building. For dinner, I treat myself to something a little better, though I still don't think I eat *that* much. The scale would disagree though. LOL
