Debate & Discuss / Re: When Should Children Have Sex
« on: April 19, 2010, 02:43:15 pm »Message ID: 165188
waiting until you're married is crap...in MY opinion. Would you buy a used car with out test driving it first? i think not. No matter how campatable you are in every other aspect of your relationship if you dont click sexually you are going to have problems.
I have 2 daughters and a son and to be perfectly honest...and hypocritical...i hope they wait until they are out of college and have thier carreers up and running successfully before they have sex so there are no surprises that might change the life plan i have set out for them  ;)
In reality i know that we are getting to that point...my oldest is 14 now...and i just hope that ive taught them enough that they come to me so we can get them the protection they need (and maybe i can talk them out of it!)

Debate & Discuss / sex offenders
« on: April 19, 2010, 02:28:28 pm »Message ID: 165172
sex offenders should go to prison and stay there. I understand that there are some registered sex offenders that didnt commit crimes against children. For instance; on my local list there is a former police officer listed on there for having sex with an ADULT inmate. I guess because he was supposed to be a person of authority...?  i dont know the details on that one or the law on.
I keep hearing about children dying in the hands of registered sex offenders. why were they out in the general population where they could get ahold a child in the first place?
These people are attracted to children...they arent "sick" in a literal sense...they can not be "fixed" "cured" or "rehabilitated".
I am a straight female...that would be like telling me i could never want, be with, or lust after another man ...EVER...well, that cant be done.
I say get these sickos off the street for good!

I agree 100%!! there are bikers that get between them and the funeral procession to "block" them from the family's view. apparently this church sends out letters to the family before the funeral basically to taunt them and let them know they will be there to protest and there is nothing you can do to stop them. its sickening that they are protesting the funerals of the men and women that died fighting for thier right to do so :angry7:

Off-Topic / Re: Thinking of switching home phone service providers got any suggestions?
« on: April 18, 2010, 10:53:16 pm »Message ID: 164875
Hey i have att as well and every month for the last 3 months ive had to call and try to fix my bill because they cant seem to get my old long distance plan off there so  im being charged for TWO long distance plans...sorry..venting there...
If you are just looking for phone service you might try Magic Jack...that is if you have broadband. i had it and it didnt work out so great for me because my internet isnt fast enough and my connection is shady..thats all because of my provider and where i live though. I know several ppl that have it and i cant tell the difference when they call me..they have really fast internet though.
