FusionCash / Would you marry a man or woman sight unseen?
« on: July 10, 2014, 11:53:02 am »Message ID: 898378
I was watching TV the other day, and heard this announcement about a new show.  The basis of this show is that you have to sign a contract agreeing to marry a man or woman, sight unseen until the day you are married.  You don't know anything about this person, not even their name.  I would not agree to something like that, and am curious whether you would be willing to marry a person, sight unseen until the day you are married. :female: :male: ??? ??? :rainbow: :rose:

FusionCash / Is anyone having problems with their Yahoo account? I sure am.
« on: July 08, 2014, 03:32:59 pm »Message ID: 897805
I awakened last Tuesday and found that every e-mail I tried to open in my Yahoo account, which is where my Fusion Cash account is signed up on, is having a problem in opening.  I got the message that "There appears to be a problem in opening" the e-mail I selected.  I tried to sign up for Daily E-mails and the last daily e-mail I got opened on July 5.  Since then, I still cannot get into any e-mails, including Fusion Cash.  I had to go into my gmail account just to get into Fusion Cash lately, and now I have discovered that I also have a second account on gmail that was opened 4 years ago.  I want to keep this account, as I opened this account on Yahoo in January 2013.  I want to know how to keep my account and get rid of the other account.  I would appreciate any help. ??? ??? ??? :rose: :rainbow:

Off-Topic / I had to set my grandson's father straight for once.
« on: July 04, 2014, 09:09:47 pm »Message ID: 896566
We have had run-ins with my grandson's father at the grocery store.  My husband was there and I gave him the phone number to appease my husband.  He called my grandson and asked him if he wanted to come to his house.  I told my daughter of his latest idea and gave her the phone number where he called from.  He was upset because she called him and went off.  He had the nerve to call me and ask me why I told her when I know how she is.  I told him that I told her because he wants to go behind her back and try to be in his life without giving up a dime of support.  I then went off on him myself.  I told him he sees his son and the only thing I observe is that he wants a hug and a picture, but he don't reach in his pockets and give him a penny.  He then said my husband told him he could come out here and pick him up anytime, which is an outright lie because I was there; what my hubby said was that he was welcome to come out here and visit him, but as far as picking him up, he don't have any intentions, now or ever, of allowing that.  I told him that my husband is doing more for his son than he is, and I think it is a darned shame that he can't give his son a dollar in the event that he wants to  buy something.  His excuse is that he wants to be in his life, but he has bills to pay, which pissed me off and I told him that I didn't lay down and get him; he and my daughter laid down and conceived him.  He is married now, and so he has an extended family to take care of.  It does not excuse the fact that he has three children and my hubby and me are taking care of his second youngest son.  I love my grandson, and it hurts me to no end that he does not feel any responsibility in his care.  What do you think? :female: :male: :male: :male: :rainbow: :rose:

Offers / Issue with FedEx delivery
« on: June 01, 2014, 04:17:11 pm »Message ID: 885857
I ordered a 10-page shredder through this company, Stoneberry, where I have a buy now pay later account, on May 27th.  Unfortunately, for me, I haven't received the shredder, although yesterday was the 31st, and their manifesto claims that FedEx delivered it yesterday at 4:34 pm.  I have had a discussion with FedEx representatives regarding this issue, but the fact is, my hubby and grandson were in the front yard, and if they left it on the steps at the front door, I would be using it right now because both of them would have let me know that I had a package.  They have left packages near my house at my hubby's relatives, but they either informed me or my hubby to pick them up.  I am beyond pissed, because the last time I had an issue with FedEx delivery, it was 10 years ago when I lived with my sister and they dropped off some cookware and it disappeared; it took nearly 7 months for FedEx to resolve the issue, and by then, I had moved back to Chicago.  My husband says I should not pay it.  So far, I owe Stoneberry $27 on the cookware I ordered this time, which FedEx delivered successfully.  I am going to call them and let them know these idiots lost the package in delivery transit so they can retrace this package.  I certainly am not going to pay for a shredder that someone else is using and not me!  Your take on this? ??? ??? ??? :rainbow: :rainbow:

Off-Topic / We had a loss of local channels since it stormed Monday and Tuesday.
« on: May 01, 2014, 05:00:11 am »Message ID: 875634
I have DirecTV.  Mississippi was hit with severe weather and we lost our local channels (Channel 4, 9, 10 and 27) on Monday evening up until Wednesday so I could not watch my usual programs.  I got up this morning and they were back.  It was good to not have to go analog to watch the news.  Did anyone else who was hit with tornadoes experience this problem? ??? ??? ??? ??? :rose: :rose:

Off-Topic / Have you ever heard of a John Wayne casserole?
« on: April 27, 2014, 06:31:06 pm »Message ID: 874024
I was at church today and we had fellowship afterwards.  The volunteers for the kitchen fixed my plate and when I opened it up, I saw a chicken breast, some strange dish, a piece of corn bread and greens.  I ate the breast, which basically filled me up.  I asked what it was, and was told that the strange dish was a John Wayne casserole.  I didn't eat it because it didn't look appetizing to me.  Have you ever heard of this casserole? ??? ??? ??? :rainbow:

Off-Topic / HyprMX Video (Mark Messier)
« on: April 21, 2014, 04:58:16 am »Message ID: 872164
I watched this video and then it blacked off and I got this message "We see that you tried to skip parts of the video.  You will not get credit for this.  Please watch video from beginning to end."  The video did it on its own and I was not credited.  I wonder why that occurred.  I have to make one cent after watching 4 videos, so I had to fall on RadioLoyalty. ??? ??? ??? :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:

Off-Topic / The woman who killed 7 of her children in a decade
« on: April 14, 2014, 04:36:53 am »Message ID: 870365
I was watching the news and heard about this woman who killed 7 of her children over a decade.  She put the bodies in boxes and her husband ran across one of the bodies when he was cleaning out the garage; the police found the other 6 bodies.  If she didn't want the children, there were other ways to do it other than that.  She could have put them up for adoption; instead she chose to kill them and end their lives.  I think it is a travesty and it is sad.  I would rather see the child being given a chance at life than to rip the life out of the child.  She needs help.  What do you think? ??? ??? ???

« on: April 11, 2014, 05:51:20 am »Message ID: 869565
In my opinion, CBS This Morning is a serious program.  I like Good Morning America.  It is fun, and I like Pharrell Williams new song, which is the theme for GMA.  What about you?   :rainbow:

Support / Why do men not remember dates when something special happens in their lives?
« on: April 10, 2014, 12:44:13 pm »Message ID: 869335
I notice that, when a man is asked how long they have been with their significant other, they can't answer.  My hubby called me up because he was adding me to his auto insurance policy but didn't know my birthdate.  I answered him at that time, but I think it is a downright shame men don't remember anything.  My daughter is in the midst of getting a divorce; her husband filed for it, but he was so bad in memory that he forgot the date when they married (they got married April 10, 2012 on their way to Marietta, GA, but he told the attorneys they were married in March 2012.  He moved back to Mississippi, and have her living in Mississippi too; she is still in Marietta.  She called up his attorney and told them the information on the paper is wrong.  She has now discovered that her soon to be ex-husband has a baby on the way.  The baby is due in September, and he cheated on my daughter when they came home to visit for Christmas.   He remained here in Mississippi, while my daughter had to go back because she had to work the day after Christmas.  He is telling people my daughter is holding up the divorce because she still wants him, and she told him if he had everything on the papers right, she would have signed the papers and he would have the papers now.  I told her to read those papers to make sure everything was correct, and she is glad he did.  They are supposed to send her a new set of papers.  This is not the first time I noticed this.  My ex-husband couldn't tell you the date we were married either, and I caught him in a lie because he told me he was 25 when we began dating.  He erased 3 years off his birth year (he was born in 1944 but told me he was born in 1947).  That mistake was caught when I had to go get his birth certificate and I was called to the front by an employee, who told me he didn't exist.  I called his mother up and she gave me this information.  But, if you let a man tell it, he remembers everything.  Your take on this? ??? ??? ??? :rainbow:

Off-Topic / It rained yesterday from the time we got out of church.
« on: April 07, 2014, 04:43:20 am »Message ID: 868276
Yesterday my family and I were at church.  It was not rainy when we left home, but it poured down from the time we got out of church and was still raining when I went to bed.  The old adage, "April showers bring May flowers" comes to mind.  How is the weather in your city?  Is it raining now?   :rose: :rose: :rose:
