Offers / MediaMogulMe Warning
« on: November 18, 2008, 02:15:39 pm »Message ID: 33034
I just signed up for the MediaMogulMe, and it states charging you $1 for processing in the Terms & Conditions, and after the 7 day free trial it's $29.95 a month for the service.  I used my paypal debit card when registering, and the company sent an authorization to Paypal for $29.95, not $1.00, so that amount has been deducted from my paypal and is being held..soo just a warning.

And now that I think about it the FC offer just says sign up to get the credit.. but not become a paying customer or something like some other offers.  I wonder if you have to become a paying member to get credit..  :dontknow:

Off-Topic / Clever Island Offer
« on: September 01, 2008, 03:32:55 pm »Message ID: 31591
Has anyone signed up with Clever Island, through this or another GPT site?  I signed up 3 months ago, and still to this day am not able to get a hold of anyone.  I didn't like their services, so I was trying to discuss it with someone.  When I called in June you were directed to push a number to get to someone.  But it went no where.  And everytime since then when I call I get the waiting music for about 5 mins then I get a message saying all the agents are busy and to leave a message.  Well I've left 5+ messages, plus have e-mailed customer support more than that.  But I've NEVER received a response.  And now I received a email from them stating my 90 day free trial is about to expire and they will be charging my credit card tomorrow 9/2.  I don't want to keep them, especially because of their customer support.  Has anyone ever dealt with this company?  And anyone know where I should go from here, since no one is contacting me back and now I'm going to be charged?  Thanks so much!  :BangHead:

I know not to do one offer more than once.. But what about say the credit check/ credit protection ones.  They're all different companies/offers.  What are the rulings on this?  Thanks
