Suggestions / Forum activity bonus
« on: January 02, 2012, 01:14:09 pm »Message ID: 469232
I think its time to decrease the amount required.
You can still keep the criteria about quality posts.
But thirty is just a bit much.
People tend to repeat questions for topics and answers.
As clearly denoted by the fact that the 'Suggestion' Board is getting repeat topics from the 'General Discussion" Thread.
This past month I fell short by 2 posts, just because I've got nothing to say.
Really think its time to update the criteria for the forum activity bonus.

FusionCash / The new people validation

I have to say thanks for the new user validation on the offers such as the daily ones.
Not being sarcastic, really love the new system--just plain old numbers and a paste job.
So much better than the old one of trying to identify made up words submerged in multi-colored oatmeal.

Thanks so much for updating it.

Off-Topic / RIP Anne McCaffrey

Farewell, Dragonlady (http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat/anne-mccaffrey-has-died_b42826)

I loved the majority of her books.
Her Pern universe will always be a great part of my childhood.
In my opinion, the quality of writers has been degrading the past decade or so; and its sad to see a great figure leave as well.

Suggestions / Cashout limit and requirement.

On the Cashout limit and requirements.
Anyone else think they should be updated?
Maybe lower the release limit from 25 to 20 dollars.
Or the forum bonus, maybe 15 posts of substance rather than the current thirty.
I for one am getting tired of all the repeating posts of "do you like FB" or "your favorite movie star" etc.

...And Im sure there have been posts similar to this one as well.

Do you feel as if the man in the office has completely bungled things up?
Do you still hold out hope he can make good on anything he has promised?
Did you see all this coming even before he was elected?

My side: Saw it coming, and wish I could say I was surprised at the way he and his cronies have completely screwed things up even further.

Who watched the new premiere? Thoughts?
Personally, I loved it. Such a better show than Family Guy, even in their original incarnation.
Loved all the movies too.

Support / The thirty post thing.

Just wondering if there was a possible leniency on the total 30 count.
Like I've been pretty good at being active enough on the boards to hit the 30+ for each month; but with all the holidays in December I was gone an awful lot and fell short by 2.
Just wishful thinking.

Anyone else miss their last of the 30 quota post because New Year's screwed up their schedule?
Sometime I really hate the holiday schedule...

Seen this on a couple of forums.
What are you listening to right this very moment?

(song, TV, etc...)

Support / 15 cent offer problem?
« on: October 03, 2009, 06:46:21 pm »Message ID: 96239
For the past couple of days, four or so, when the timer is up, only part 'a' appears and part b does not show up for completion.
Anyone else having this problem? It's only showed up once for me in the past several days and it took 15 minutes of constant refreshing.

Off-Topic / GAME: Resident Evil 5
« on: September 21, 2009, 11:16:57 pm »Message ID: 92237
Just played it.
I find it funny that some people got all up in arms about killing black/brown people (their own words).
It's set in Africa for crying out loud. And all the other games have had white zombies. Though it's the first game or media of any type where their are token white people.
Personally, I don't think race matters. Black or white or Asian; if you're a zombie, I'm gonna put a bullet between your eyes.

But yeah, anyone else played it? 360 or PC. Feelings?

Support / Paypal Mastercard
« on: August 30, 2009, 08:43:34 pm »Message ID: 85192
I asked this some time ago with no clear answer, so I thought that I'd ask again since I just found out that there's a 6 month cap on accruing funds.
Who here has been verified by applying for the Paypal Mastercard?
What are the downsides?
Annual Fees? Monthly Fees? Etc?

Thanks.

Support / Paypal Verification
« on: July 25, 2009, 02:07:56 am »Message ID: 73465
I don't know if the support forum is only for FC focused questions, but I'm posting this here anyways.
I've heard varying stories and processes on getting a paypal account verified. So I was hoping to just ask amongst the members here about their experiences.

A very dumbed down answer/steps would be appreciated--I'm no financial guru.

The way I want to go is right now I have a credit card linked to my account with some balance in the account itself. My understanding is that if I buy something that costs more than my balance, paypal will draw off the credit card to fill the remaining deficit. And charge me an exorbitant fee for doing so. Yes? No?

Well I want to get their credit/debit/mastercard to get the limits lifted from my account. Are there monthly fees? yearly fees? like a normal credit card? or can I just let it sit there for X amount of time and lie completely inert? And if I use the card in a restaurant per say like a normal credit card, am I charged extra by paypal for doing so? and can I still have it charge the account balance first then use the linked credit card as a back up or am I slammed with fees? Mainly I want to know what the fees are (hidden or otherwise) so I can avoid them. I also heard there are like 3 different types of cards. Which one is best for personal use? Non business like.

Thanks to any and all replies.
