Off-Topic / when do you usually put up your christmas tree?
« on: December 01, 2011, 12:20:38 pm »Message ID: 454672
I'm wondering when you FusionCashers usually put up your Christmas tree and put it away. I'm from Japan so I don't have family traditions and such. Because Christmas there is completely different and it's like Valentine's day here.

My husband doesn't want me to put up our Christmas tree until it's at least December. It is snowy (and windy) today here in Colorado and my daughter has a little bit of cold (and it's December!) so it is a perfect day for me to put up our tree so I just did it. I usually put it away right after Christmas.
How about you guys? :peace:

Off-Topic / which foreign country have you ever been to?

Which foreign country have you ever been to?

I'm from Japan and before I moved here to the states, every time I got a chance (& money), I came here to see my boyfriend (he is my husband now :)). Now I live here and everytime I get a chance, I go back to Japan to visit my family & friends. I've never been to any other countries. I have a 20 month old girl and she is the only grandchild my parents have. They miss her so much... :confused1: So our next trip destination will be Japan again. Someday I'd love to visit Spain or somewhere but I don't think it's gonna happen at least 10 years later or so. Hopefully somewhere a little more closer, like Mexico or Canada soon.

Off-Topic / unauthorized credit card charges
« on: April 02, 2011, 09:16:11 pm »Message ID: 334657
Yesterday morning (4/1) I got a phone call from my bank and she said somebody used my credit card online. :confused1:
At first I thought it was April fools but it wasn't. It was only $75 but I was sooo pissed. :BangHead:
That $75 is going to be deducted from my account but the bank already paid me back the money so I don't have to pay for it but this isn't the first time so I'm very concerned. I hadn't been using my credit card for a while (I always use paypal now if it's available) but I just purchased a coupon at Gr***on and put my credit card number like 2 days ago. I think it's where they got my number :(
Luckily it was only $75, the last time was over $300 for USPS shipping or something. :dontknow: But it's still cheap compared to what happen to my mom. It was airline tickets that are over $1000. :sad1: She didn't have to pay for it though.

It seems like card thefts are everywhere. Has anyone experienced it before too?
