I come from a very small family.
Only 4 in my own family.
But,We have a extended family of 5 and 2 more on weekends so 7.....
And alot of cayoss...
So It amazes me to see this wonderful family, and how well they interact with each other.
I would not want there Grocery Bill 
They are a well oiled machine
Do you watch the Duggars  19 Kids and counting?
What was your family like growing up Large or small?

 How I would spend my last 24 hours on earth?
 I thought this one thru and told him I would want to spend every minute, second ,hour-
with my family and friends. Doing things together.
And I would want to see the sun rise and the sunset with my husband.
I asked him the same question he said Get real Grammy I am not going NOWHERE...

The Question I am asking of you-
How would you spend your last 24 hours on earth......

Off-Topic / What are you planting in 2011 in your vegetable /flower /herb garden whatever

I am thinking ahead to 'SPRING"
I am planning my gardens on paper now-
I love "sweet potatoes" but cant find them up north here.
I love to grow pototoes"so easy" we had Blue Potatoes last year
Some store bought BLUE potatoes sprouted I cut up the potatoes so they all had sprouts
Powered the raw sides with plaster dust so they dont rot and "Bango' Potatoe plants
Tomatoes, cukes , onions ,rads, carrots kale, peas, green beans, soy beans, Beans beans beans
I bought a dry bean package assorted beans in it from the soup isle at wallyworld-
and let the grandkids plant them.
This was sort of a lesson for them on how things grow...
 We grew mini heads o Lettuce In the water fall stream
of the fish pond "guess you could call it Hydro Grown ,no soil."Great Lettuce.

But, What IS your favorite vegetables /flowers /herbs
That you might be planting this year in your garden

  I dont know about anyone else But I sure get alot of Dryer Lint-
There are 5 adults and 1 child here the dryer is always going..
2 Horses with there own laundry "horse blankets"
For some reason I always get stuck cleaning up dryer lint of the floor on the dryer. in the dryer everywhere-
I looks like its almost alive :-
Piles and piles of it.
Just recently I wondered (ok the truth I was bored with Lota time on my hands) and 3 glasses of wine
if you could use this "Dryer Lint" for any good purpose and this is what I have found out.
I googled it!
You can make clay with it.
Paper mache, fire starters, bird nests, worm bedding, plant starting medium. It can also be added to potted house plants to keep in the  moisture. Decorations even yarn ( not that I would knit with it (well MaYbeeeee ..
Stuffing for cat toys pin cushions too  :- (hmmmmmm)
I would love to hear your thoughts and Ideas on Dryer Lint....
  Hmm maybe this is my next business venture

Happy New Year to you all?4 years ago we removed our regular phone our landline .
We were able to keep our old telephone number(for the land line)
 and we now use it for our cell number.
Some carriers do not allow such use of land line numbers but ours did Verizon...
We have been thru many a ice storms where we have lost power for 2 weeks telephone poles down you name it. Being able to charge my cell from a car charger and stay connected to the outside world Made the 2 weeks more livable.
So my question Is do you have a land line at your home that you are still connected to and use, Or did you drop this and use your cell phone as your only phone.

Or the early to bed early to rise "Like Me", Got to be up to care for critters and others.

 :wave:What was the most fantastic thing or event that personally happened to you this year 2010.
My own personal Aha-Haha was I had brain surgery done May 11, 2010,-
My loss of hearing after surgery was at 60% both ears.
My last hearing test Last week I have 100% hearing back in booth of my ears.
Yeh Hah!! I can hear the grand kids now

I am curious to know how many people actually partisapate in "REGifting "
You know you get something for the holiday from someone else and you its not really what
you wanted.
Do you give to someone else as a gift , or actually return it, or do you keep it.
Have you been to a "REGifting Party"?
I for one do not do these thing.....
