Suggestions / 'Gold/premium Membership' Status

This has nothing to do with post count.
On many sites similar to this, they have a feature that places you in a pool to automatically earn referrals as people sign up through non-referral related links, after you have met certain requirements. ( Some cost money from your total, others do it only after you cash out, etc ).
I'd like to see this on FC because I know getting referrals has huge staying power for active members of communities such as this one. If this is added to the FC line up, I could see referrals earned this way (as well as the other bonus's associated with them) as giving a reduced bonus rate versus referrals who come to you via your personal referral link - but it would be so awesome to have here.
EX: Someone Googles and finds FC. They sign up. Their sign up is placed into a pool of similar people who signed up through google. These sign-ups are given to people who have met the 'gold membership' status on FC, and they get the referral. This would go 1 by 1, to all people in the gold membership pool - and then start over again once all those people have gotten 1. So it just cycles.
