FusionCash / Farewell
« on: August 19, 2013, 06:23:29 pm »Message ID: 782653
So long, FusionCash folks. I had fun earning pennies with y'all.

But just recently I calculated how much time was being wasted and now I'm not going to be doing this anymore.  Yes, I know pennies add up, but if you spend 15 seconds to make one penny (and believe me, a lot of the pennies on this site take more than 15 seconds to get), then you are making 2.40 an hour, which is less than half minimum wage.

You would be far better off getting a real job, even if it is at McDonalds.

But does this mean that FusionCash is useless? Not for everyone. You can make more than 2.40 an hour if you make those pennies AND have referrals (talk to oldbuddy for hints). I personally wouldn't be able to get referrals because all of the people I know have a good enough job that FusionCash wouldn't really help them.

So for me, and anyone else who doesn't do referrals, FusionCash isn't worth the time: apply to a nearby shop or a call center.

Offers / Missing Daily Cash Emails
« on: July 28, 2013, 11:34:48 am »Message ID: 771694
I haven't gotten a DCE pertaining to either today or yesterday.  Perhaps I mistakenly activated the one-click unsubscribe, but I sure don't recall anything of the sort.  Is anyone aware of a method to resubscribe?

Offers / "1 cent" video
« on: July 26, 2013, 07:51:18 pm »Message ID: 771074
I tried the Dr. Scholls video (known as hyprMX videos from the paid videos page), and it said I would earn one cent.  However, when I finished watching the video, I checked my account, and it credited 2 cents!  No complaints there!

Best software error I've run into all day!

Offers / Hilarious Survey
« on: July 24, 2013, 03:58:41 pm »Message ID: 770153
I tried the Unique habits survey, and part of the way through it discussed a cell phone screen that helps extend the battery life by a built-in solar panel.  Then it queried: "How new and different do you consider this product, compared to other snack foods?"

Why, if that isn't different from snack foods, I don't know what is!  ;D

Offers / When do RadioLoyalty Captchas come up?
« on: July 16, 2013, 07:31:29 pm »Message ID: 766588
Now I know with a title like that a bunch of supercilious smart-alecs are going to reply "every 10 minutes", but I am already aware of that, so don't bother.

What I'm curious about is: the last several times the music has ceased and been replaced by an audio ad, I have gotten a captcha within a minute. Is this merely a coincidence, or should I always go check for a captcha every time I hear an ad?  That would make it much easier to remember to do the captchas, so I'm hopeful.

Offers / How short is too short?
« on: January 02, 2013, 10:03:46 am »Message ID: 665270
The forum posting bonus description page says that "contributory" posts are not short, missing content, ...

So, the question I've been running into is: How short to posts have to be to qualify as "short"?  It seems like I have had some of my posts automatically thrown out because they were too short, so is there a particular character or word limit?

Offers / Happy Holidays! Your Christmas gift is: Not crediting!
« on: December 11, 2012, 10:26:57 am »Message ID: 655337
I had to do the daily cash email twice today for some reason.  The only difference I saw was that the Solve Media challenge was Happy Holidays on a pretty ribbon with "Please Enter: Solve Media" at the bottom, whereas when I did it the second time, I got one of the normal ones with wiggly words.
Nevertheless, I finally got it to credit.  ;)

Off-Topic / "Does this contain chemicals?"
« on: November 17, 2012, 10:41:27 am »Message ID: 643248
It really bothers me when people ask if something contains chemicals.  But all matter is made up of chemicals, so that is really an unnecessary question, as the answer should always be: Yes!

Maybe what we should really be worrying about is whether the products contain harmful chemicals, and what the effects of those chemicals are.  For instance, hydrochloric acid (HCl) is a chemical that sounds really awful because it is a strong acid, but ingesting reasonable amounts of HCl is not very harmful as it is part of the normal chemistry of your stomach, so the adverse affects are limited to an upset stomach or "heartburn".

This is really just an informational quip, so I present it in the hopes, but with no guarantee, that it will be helpful.

Support / Paid videos mostly don't credit
« on: August 26, 2012, 09:26:04 pm »Message ID: 594321
I have seen a lot of users complain that particular paid videos aren't crediting, but today I tried them all and the ONLY one that credited was the samsung galaxy one. May I point out that this is a little unreasonable? At least I don't depend on the videos for my income.  ::)

Debate & Discuss / Let's discuss Christianity versus Atheism (or others)
« on: August 23, 2012, 04:45:09 pm »Message ID: 592562
NOTE: No fusioncash user should feel obligated to participate in (or continue in) this discussion.  I want to point a few things out, and if someone listens, that's great, but if not, I'm not going to force them to.
That said, I have a feeling that falcon9 will be very interested in this thread.  :D ;)

Now, before we just come out and say any particular worldview is ludicrous, let me say that EVERY worldview is based on assumptions, and these assumptions determine the rest of the worldview via (usually) logical processes.

So, my worldview is based on assumptions including, but not limited to, the following:
  • God is Omniscient and Omnipotent
  • The Word of God (the Bible) is infallible and inerrant (aside from human error such as typos or translation errors).
  • Our physical senses give us a reasonable guess as to the state and attributes of God's Creation (in other words, we can use science because all of what we perceive is not illusionary).

I could try to put together a list of assumptions for Atheism, but I would rather have y'all do that, and I might compare to what my guess would have been.

Offers / Favorite Daily Tasks

Here are my favorite tasks to do on Fusion cash every day:

Cheapflights isn't always extant, so just check once and be patient if it isn't available that day.

Good luck and have no trepidation about adding to the list.

Support / Paid to click only shows comics
« on: August 20, 2012, 09:17:26 pm »Message ID: 591048
I've never experienced this problem before, but I brought up the daily paid to click and the only page I saw to the left was "Comic".  Does anyone else have this problem, or is it unique to me?

Browser: Firefox
Operating System: Windows 7

Support / Is it 240 days, or 180 days?
« on: August 11, 2012, 11:11:13 am »Message ID: 585954
I have heard multiple times that my earned offers expire after 180 days, but I noticed that in my account page it says that it shows for the last 240 days.  Why is this?

FusionCash / Why do they have a $5 sign up bonus link?
« on: August 06, 2012, 12:47:48 pm »Message ID: 583288
I'm curious why they have the $5 signup bonus text whenever you make a post.  I hope it isn't because I didn't get my bonus yet (I sure thought I did).

Doesn't this bonus just apply automatically without you having to click that link? ???
