Off-Topic / Cobra Kai youtube show spoilers (you got em' I want to hear em!)
« on: October 23, 2019, 04:00:32 pm »Message ID: 1298177
Like most of you if not all of you reading this, I'm a Karate Kid fan and love the Cobra Kai show on youtube red. The problem here is, I've only gotten to see the first two episodes and I glean what I can from teaser videos other fans post on youtube and it's just not good enough! Tell me everything that you want to talk about, what surprised you, what do you like about the show or dislike and answer if you can for me a few of my questions like: What happened between Robby and Daniel? is Miguel paralyzed? if so, how did it happen? Why did Johnny lose all his students (he was doing a great job making them stronger people, I thought!), what's the deal with Miyagi's medal of honor? and lastly, what's this I hear about Daniel finding Johnny drunk and dejected and about to take him to Okinawa? Spoil me, spoil me, spoil me!! "Cobra Kia, never die!"

Off-Topic / Ebay turning away customers
« on: June 18, 2019, 03:25:19 pm »Message ID: 1280471
Just like many of you here I am a regular customer on ebay (always so much stuff I want to get!) anyway, wanted to make a purchase today but after I log into my paypal account, the gizmo gets stuck on loading and won't let me complete my purchase! Then, I found a lady on the ebay community that has been dealing with this too and apparently, credit cards aren't being accepted either. Stranger still, I tried to reply to her message and all of a sudden I get an error 404 message and her thread was removed, couldn't find it! Any of you being denied buying someone or yourself something you wanted? Oh boy, I hope ebay fixes this problem soon :confused1:

Off-Topic / Bad experience with DHgate
« on: November 20, 2018, 09:39:20 am »Message ID: 1247841
Dear friends,

Recently I attempted to purchase a pair of Nike Mags like those from the Back to the Future 2 movie on a site located in China called DHgate, a site that I never used before (and doubt I ever will again!). The initial feedback I saw about the seller was positive and so I neglected to look at the other reviews on his store page that would have given me the dirty details which would have been eye opening. To make a long story short, I never received the sneakers I was really looking forward to getting but DHgate sent me an email this morning in reply to the dispute I filed saying I can expect a full refund.

It's possible that other sellers on DHgate are not dishonest like the one I was dealing with (didn't respond to any messages either) but I think from now on I'll shop on trusted sites like ebay and amazon. Not to say that those sites are perfect but they seem more trustworthy than other merchants. I just wanted to share my experience in hopes of saving you some disappointment and frustration.

Offers / mythoughtcounts cookies snafu
« on: April 13, 2017, 02:10:09 pm »Message ID: 1135899
Hey gang,

Anybody else not being able to do mythoughtcounts because of some silly message about needing cookies enabled? I just checked and as I knew, my cookies are enabled! Looks like more bs so I can't complete a survey. If these companies don't have surveys, don't want us completing surveys, don't like our answers etc etc etc, why are they wasting everybody's time? I'm getting a bit tired of having to jump through hoops for a dollar or less, hopefully things will change for the better soon!

Off-Topic / Computer screen mystery
« on: October 29, 2016, 05:54:23 pm »Message ID: 1101479
Hi friends!,

About a week ago a strange sign appeared on my desktop computer screen that I've never seen before and doing a google search about it shed no light. I had just completed some work online when a yellow rectangle about three inches long and an inch wide appeared on my computer screen! Inside the yellow rectangle in the top left corner was what looked like a red sun. To the right of this sun object was something that looked like a long straight meter which was blue and had a smaller green meter inside. At the bottom of this meter was a big green 100%. I closed the browser window hoping that the rectangular sign would go away which it did only to reappear again a few seconds later! Concerned, I closed Firefox and decided to do a full systems scan during which time the sign stayed on my screen. The sign did go away but would come back and remained for as long as forty minutes! My pointer could not go on it and would just go under the sign. When the scan was over, no threats were detected. The next day it was gone and my computer seemed normal with nothing out of the ordinary.  I'd still like to know what the heck this thing was, has anyone encountered something similar?   ???

Off-Topic / Has rewardingways seen better days?
« on: October 08, 2016, 04:57:14 pm »Message ID: 1098030
Yesterday (Friday) I went to log into my account on rewardingways to earn my pittance when to my complete surprise, found they have locked my account because I'm a "cheater". This same bs happened to my account on slicethepie, their reason as they told me was because they detected I was using a proxy. Well, I don't know what game these sites are playing but I was not using a proxy and I haven't done anything even close to cheating on RW (that would be obvious to anyone who looks at my earnings!). So, I sent then a support ticket telling them that I'm surprised to see my account in an unusable state and that I hope they correct the problem. I went on facebook and saw that other people are dealing with the same issue but their posts are dated four or five days prior to mine and RW said they are working to fix the issue. Why is my account still locked? I'm thinking that the best thing to do is once my account is back online, I should cash out and say goodbye to these REAL cheaters! What say you? >:(

Off-Topic / To fellow users of Qmee
« on: September 07, 2016, 04:06:56 pm »Message ID: 1091480
Hi friends!,

I know this might sound like a silly question but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Last night I joined Qmee which seems like a site that will give me some extra pocket change but I'm concerned that having it run on my computer might be a security risk when I log onto my paypal account or do banking online. Am I right to worry? should I disable the add on or just use another browser? or am I just being overly cautious?  ???

Support / Glad to be back!
« on: July 04, 2016, 03:33:48 pm »Message ID: 1077681
A funny thing happened after I opened my daily cash email on July 1st 2016. Instead of being able to click the link and get my two cents, I was presented with a message that my account was restricted! Certainly a new one on me, as I've been a happy member of FC for some years now and have never had any issues. I submitted a support ticket and tweeted about the situation to find that I wasn't alone in being restricted. Thankfully things are back to normal now as my twitter friend suggested I keep trying to login as my first attempt was unsuccessful (I didn't know that I needed to click the my account tab). I'd like the thank Fusioncash for restoring my account and also give a little friendly advice. Most if not all the members on Fusioncash I have found to be nice, considerate, supportive, friendly and intelligent people. In the future, instead of freezing member's accounts, email us first and ask about something if you think there is a problem. We'll work together, and I'm sure things will go a lot smoother that way avoiding any confusion and ill feelings.

Off-Topic / Word *bleeped* out
« on: June 02, 2016, 04:53:08 pm »Message ID: 1070882
I posted a comment yesterday and typed a word that sounds like sillies but begins with a "W" and it was bleeped out!? Correct me if I'm wrong but since when is that a nasty word? LOL. Whats next, you can't type "darn" without being censored? This just struck me as being so odd, I thought I'd share it with the community.

I found this story to be so interesting and inspiring, I thought I should share it with the FC community. I'm hoping that lives will be saved and cancer will never kill another person ever again! Off-Topic / Annoying Peter Pan Geico commercial
« on: December 01, 2015, 05:15:27 pm »Message ID: 1029605
I'm sure you've seen the Geico commercial on t.v featuring the rude kid playing Peter Pan (he comes flying through the air and then proceeds to insult the adults at a banquet). I don't know about you but he makes my blood boil! I don't have Geico insurance but after seeing the ad, I wouldn't be inclined to consider them if I was shopping for insurance . Now if they make a part two of this horrible ad where Peter gets eaten by the crocodile or Captain Hook impales him on his hook hand, then I might feel better about Geico! Does anyone else have some thoughts of how you'd like to see this little jerk disposed of?

Off-Topic / Twitter Hassle
« on: August 04, 2015, 05:53:41 pm »Message ID: 1002271
I was on Twitter yesterday of which I've been a member since 2010 or there abouts and even though it's basically a waste of time, I kinda enjoy posting info about things I enjoy like Star Trek, Tae Kwon Do and Rock and Roll music etc.

I have an old computer which is slow not just due to age but because I'm one of the LUCKY ones who has windows vista!

So, while I'm looking to follow people on twitter, firefox becomes unresponsive, the stupid shockwave plugin crashes and my computer freezes! When things came back to normal about eight minutes later, there is a cute little message from twitter saying my account has been locked because I broke the rules or some bs like that.

To make a long story short, they sent me an email and I'm supposed to get a text message from them with a password to magically unlock MY account. I explained to them on their contact us page that I don't have a smart phone and can't receive text messages, nor do I think I should be charged anything to fix this problem caused by my slow computer!

I have since read online that a lot of people have run into this problem too and that twitter is VERY slow in helping to resolve this issue if they bother to at all. Frankly, this has left a bad taste in my mouth. I have much more important things to do with my time than post things on twitter and pray someone uses a referral link to a site I'm earning on. This is probably a blessing in disguise, good riddance twitter, don't let the door hit your useless butt on the way out!

Off-Topic / No audio on youtube!?
« on: May 28, 2015, 08:00:21 pm »Message ID: 985487
Dear friends,

I wanted to watch and listen to a video on youtube tonight but there was no audio! The video played fine but without being able to hear it too made me lose my interest. It's not my speakers because I was able to see and listen to a video here on FC and I tried things out on another site I use and everything ran okay there too! Anyone else not getting audio on youtube or is it something else that's possibly the problem? Hopefully things will return to normal soon, it just strikes me as odd as this is the first time I've had trouble with youtube.

Off-Topic / Want to convert my home from oil heat to something else, suggestions?
« on: March 26, 2015, 07:10:18 pm »Message ID: 969783
Dear friends,

I'm fed up with having oil heat my house. Oil has been spilled in my basement during a service call, the filter was just replaced today because it sprung a leak making my house smell like a gas station and knowing that replacing the tank is going to cost at least 2,000 dollars just adds fuel to my fire (no pun intended). There must be a smarter, safer, cleaner way to heat a house! I don't want to switch to gas, I've heard too many scary stories of houses blowing up. I am considering having solar panels installed but it could take 90-120 days to complete the job (yikes!) it's unclear if this would replace my oil tank (which is the whole idea) and I didn't get a quote on price. My favorite idea is converting my house to electric heat but there are cons that come with this too! What do you suggest? How do you heat your house? Any ideas you want to share would be great, the sooner I get rid of this pain in the neck oil tank b.s the better!

Support / Credit for daily mail being taken away
« on: October 24, 2013, 10:14:52 am »Message ID: 809211
For the past three days (at least) I have noticed that I'll get credit for clicking the daily mail but then when I click the my account button, the two cents is removed! I sent a support ticket yesterday so hopefully FC will credit my account for the money I'm missing. I hate to complain but I'm short six cents now and perhaps more since I'm not sure when exactly this glitch began. All I know is that I'm going to manually keep track of my earnings from now on since computer records can't always be trusted. Is anyone else having this problem? ???
