Off-Topic / Vacation Ideas
« on: January 12, 2019, 08:16:30 am »Message ID: 1256470
Depending on the amount we get back from taxes, my family and I are considering a vacation early summer. We haven't been on a vacation since 2016. We live in Georgia. Do not want to go abroad. We are considering the beach (possibly Tybee Island, Savannah, or Myrtle Beach), Washington DC (something educational for the kids), a cruise. We went to Disney on our trip in 2016 so we are looking to do something a little different.  :-[ ;)

I got a new job. I will be started Tuesday October 2. I will be working in one of our locals schools in the cafeteria. The hours are perfect 9 to 1:30. I will still be able to drop of my kids to school and pick them up in the afternoon. I haven't worked since 2000. I have been a homemaker for 18 years. So I will be doing something for myself and for my family.

Off-Topic / IRS Calls
« on: June 06, 2018, 02:17:44 pm »Message ID: 1220452
My husband got a call yesterday supposedly claiming to be from the IRS. The person had a heavy Indian accent and went as far to tell my husband two different amounts to pay. They even claimed they have taken a warrant out for his arrest. Well needless to say my husband put the person in their place and the person actually hung up on him. Has anyone gotten a call like this?

I got my 6th tattoo on my leg this past Saturday. It has meaning, It is in the shape of the Batman symbol, with colored puzzles pieces inside with a pink ribbon around the head part. Batman is because my son likes Batman, the puzzle pieces refers to Autism and the ribbon is in memory of my mother who passed away in 2011 of breast cancer. Anyone else have tattoos?

I recently had my gall-bladder removed and had a hernia repaired. All seems to be healing nicely. As anyone else had their gall-bladder removed and did you have any complications from the surgery or not?
