Off-Topic / Are you good at assembling furniture
« on: June 28, 2020, 10:53:14 am »Message ID: 1329975
I spent a whole afternoon putting together a new desk but I actually kind of enjoy a task like that. Most people seem to complain about it. Am I the only one?

Support / Captcha problems on the daily email?
« on: June 11, 2020, 10:42:57 pm »Message ID: 1328104
Anyone else's daily cash email page not showing the captcha when you click and thus not crediting? Mine has been doing this for about a week.

Off-Topic / Back to church?
« on: May 27, 2020, 08:58:51 am »Message ID: 1326064
Churchgoers, what's the current situation with yours? Are they opening and are you planning to go back as soon as they do? Mine is starting to try to make the decision when to open. I bet a lot of people will still want to worship from home for a while even after services resume.

Off-Topic / What snacks do you like?
« on: April 28, 2020, 01:57:52 pm »Message ID: 1322704
Looks like I better hide the junk food from myself because I've gained a few since being stuck at home. What kind of snacks do you like, salty or sweet?

Support / Videos not crediting
« on: April 28, 2020, 01:20:43 pm »Message ID: 1322700
Whenever I do the "interact with this site for 3 minutes" style video offers they don't credit. I know I'm doing it right because they used to credit reliably, but in the last month or so I receive nothing. Is anyone else getting credit?

Off-Topic / More severe weather for the south
« on: April 20, 2020, 10:35:20 am »Message ID: 1321746
Things sounded really bad last week around Easter and now I see we've had another round of severe weather hitting the south this weekend, maybe still continuing. Do we have anybody here who's living in that area & how are you doing?

Off-Topic / Do you usually remember your dreams?
« on: March 28, 2020, 08:44:11 pm »Message ID: 1318531
I don't think I dream too often, or I do but they dissolve as soon as I wake up. I haven't had a really memorable dream in years even the scary ones. Do you tend to remember yours?

Off-Topic / Tax payments now due July 15
« on: March 20, 2020, 11:21:39 am »Message ID: 1317538
Just heard the 90 day extension news now that I paid mine just days ago. That's what I get for finishing early lol. Who else already paid and who's celebrating?

Off-Topic / Stimulus checks for all Americans?
« on: March 20, 2020, 11:15:08 am »Message ID: 1317537
Do you think they'll really do this? I said "LOL yeah right" when I first heard the idea, but it sounds like they might actually be considering it. Last night my local news said the amounts they are discussing are $1200 for singles $2400 for couples.

Off-Topic / Screenings of older movies
« on: March 13, 2020, 12:03:10 pm »Message ID: 1316767
It's pretty rare that I go to see a new release, most aren't any good, and the few I am interested in I'd rather wait and see at home. But there are a couple theaters near me that sometimes screen older movies and I do enjoy going to some of those. Anyone else more tempted by old screenings than new?

Off-Topic / Favorite Hostess product?
« on: February 27, 2020, 01:41:53 pm »Message ID: 1314476
Mine is maybe a tie between cupcakes and dingdongs. I have noticed they're making them smaller these days. I miss when they came wrapped in foil. What is your favorite?

Off-Topic / Ever get sick twice in a row?
« on: February 26, 2020, 09:34:54 am »Message ID: 1314291
I got the flu or something two weeks ago and thought I got off easy with only one really bad day. Boy this weekend I got it again and it knocked me flat for 3 days. And of course this is the year I went extra careful and got a flu shot...  ::)

Off-Topic / What will you plant in your 2020 garden?
« on: February 20, 2020, 08:43:20 am »Message ID: 1313555
It's still early but I'm getting itchy to start planting! I'm trying a few kinds of hot peppers this year, I started the seedlings indoors several weeks ago, they're slow but it's still a head start. Also doing my usual squash, pumpkins and herbs.

What will you be growing this year?

Off-Topic / What is the coldest temperature you've ever felt?
« on: January 29, 2020, 08:06:23 am »Message ID: 1310644
I'm taking a trip somewhere the low will be down in the teens and that's about twenty degrees lower than I've ever felt! What's the coldest you've felt?

Off-Topic / Ring doorbell

Anyone else have one of these and how are you liking it? I do like that the app alerts you to other reports of stuff going on in your neighborhood.
