Off-Topic / Pre employment testing

Ok folks, I've been sort of looking for a job. Seriously trying to stay away from the customer service field. But so far, nothing has come through. So I applied for a position, on call customer service rep with out local utility company. So much for stick with my guns. Here's the deal, after 2 phone calls, 1 was actually a phone screening, I get to go take a test 3 hrs long Wednesday at 7:30 am! Am I crazy for giving this a shot?
Once I recover from being up functioning and thinking at that hour, I'll let everyone know how it went.

I'm trying to save money any and every way I can, considering I am currently not working. So, I've started clipping coupons, I'm not sure how much I'm saving,if anything. Wondering, what's the best way to go about this, and does anyone have any tips?

Ok, it is official, my youngest daughter is a licensed cosmetologist! She took the second part of the state test on Monday, and received the passing results today! I'm so proud of her-she was even offered a full time job today as well!

So, I don't cook that often, and tonight I know why...not sure exactly what happened. Maybe my attempt to eat healthier this year; but it was drab and a bit tasteless. And now it is another fast food night. But on the bright side maybe I'll get out of cooking for awhile

After a long, way too long, break, my shows are back. but I am wondering what happened to the Blacklist? The promos said it would be back on tonight, but I didn't see it listed in my area. I'm not too happy but...there's always OnDemand. What shows is everyone looking forward to returning?

Here in the Midwest, it looks like Winter is planning to stick around for a while. It's been a deep freeze here, and there is an ice advisory until tomorrow, oh my, sounds like this is going to be a fun season

My youngest daughter needs braces, yikes! It's more cosmetic, since she's not having any problems eating speaking...slight over/under bite, I forget which, and a gap in her front teeth. We have insurance, but...WOW! The price tag is a new car! I want her to have this but...reality is a--------
What do people do? Looking for any and every suggestion.

How's the weather where you are? Here in the Midwest, it's doing the usual roller coaster thing, dipping close to freezing then up to near 60's if not warmer. My house is nightmare mix of boots. jackets and hoodies! Guess I should be use to this by now, but every year I whine and complain-when I should be grateful for the clothes to ride out our crazy temps!

I've been unemployed for sometime now, more or less my choice. I'm writing, getting a few things published, a few on line activities, but that's it. Lately, I've found myself putting in applications for positions I wouldn't have thought about normally. The extra money is much needed, but we are managing. Here's the question of the day. Is it better to hire a younger worker or a more seasoned one?

It's been raining here in the Midwest for 5 days or more. And today finally there's sun and blue skies! Thank God. Hopefully the clear weather will help the Cardinals win tonight.
