Offers / Re: Home Savings Mall cancellation?
« on: February 23, 2009, 12:10:35 pm »Message ID: 40001
Oh, and anyone know if the Home Savings Mall with the $25 walmart gc, and the Savings Ace offer, also with a $25gc would be the same?  Because when you click on each, they each have the same address membershipme.com, but they are different sister companies I guess..?

I've done an offer like this in the past through another site.  It takes forever.  Once they get your information actually inputted into their system, they will mail you a welcome pack, and there will be a little white postcard type thing where you have to fill out your name and address, and mail it back to claim the $25 gc.  Once they receive that postcard, your gc will arrive in 4-6 weeks or so..  But you do get it eventually.  I did have a problem with another one like this from another site, where I had canceled the next day because I was having problems with the site, and I never received a welcome kit, which means no gc.  The supervisor I spoke to said that it takes 2-3 days usually after you sign up for the trial for them to process your info to mail out your kit.

I did get the $5 credit within an hour btw

It will at least show that you clicked on the offer if you goto your account and right above your credited ones, theres a link to click to show all the links you've clicked and the status will change to credited, when fusion gets credited.

Make sure you allow popups.  Clear your cookies before you do an offer. Or download CCleaner.  I always use FF no problem.  As for things asking you to d/l and install something, there are not a lot of them, the company just wants to track what you're doing for their survey purposes.  I've never had an issue with installing anything and it screwing up my system.  Trial offers asking for CC information, aren't scams, just make sure to read all the fine print.  As with any ordering online there can be complications with billing, but what can you do.  If you'd like to do CC offers, and have no CC, if you have a paypal account you can d/l the paypal plug in, and it allows you to generate a one time use or multiple use CC number, and it just deducts the funds from your paypal account and/or your backup funding.  Fusion Cash does not add a lot of new offers very often, because they want to make sure the offer is legit, and worth offering to us.

Ya I've spoken to supervisors, and they all like to argue, they're like well you signed up for us to call you so we're calling you.  I proceed to tell them I want to be taken off of their list and do not call me again, and they just keep going on with their sales pitch, or arguing with me.  So  I let them know I would be reporting them to our attourneys general if they called me again.  Doesn't stop them.

Well first when signing up all of those rules are there for you to read, I find it amusing how many people don't read the rules.  So if they had read the rules they would know better.  But for mistakes, I guess it would depend on the situation.

I get a lot of spam calls, and they are VERY persistent!  I've had many problems with companys calling even after I told them not to call again.  Especially one for the past 3 1/2 months, they call at least 8-10 times a day, it's annoying, but after a bit you recognize the number and just ignore it. lol

Yep, same offers.  Once in a blue moon one site has a new offer that the other doesn't.  I've cashed out from both sites no problem, but it took months, because I go back and forth to the sites, doing offers to slowly build my balance on each site.

Plus if you receive a confirmation email, it may state what day your trial period ends, and your billing begins.  Or if you sign into your account on that company's site, it might be somewhere in there.

At the end, when it says click two ads, I click on two different ones, and they open to new windows, or tabs, depending on your browser, and leave them open for about 10 seconds while reading them, then close them.  I never enter any information after clicking them.  Thats what I do, and I get credited.

Avast is pretty good.. I used to have that same issue, and turns out there was a trojan from stupid adware.  You can get a 60 day trial of it at their site.  I was able to uninstall after the trial, and redownload it and got another trial..
