Jesus is not a god he is The God. In scripture he says "I am God and besides me there is no other god." Notice the capital G and the small g. When the capital G is used it always refers to Jesus Christ.

It is true what goes around comes around but it comes from the Bible when God said, "Be ye not deceived. For God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap. In other words each of us will have a harvest in our life. We determine what kind it will be by the seeds that we sow. If we sow kindness, goodness, desire to help others, make a differrence in the world to make it a better place, then that is what our harvest will be. On the other hand if we are jealous, malicious, vindictive, deceiving, disrespectful then that is what our harvest will be. Be careful of the harvest you choose cause it wil come back to you and multiplied.

I agree with you 110% This world gets more upset at the mistreatment of animals than they do of babies and children. Don't get me wrong I love animals, but I put human life above any animal at any time, and I have 2 dogs whom I love very much.

I am so sorry to hear of the abuse you suffered at the hands of this low life. No woman has to put up with physical or verbal abuse for a man. Women who stay with men who abuse them are only endangering their own lives and their children if they have them. They are only fooling themselves if they believe his lies that he will never do it again, because he can't control himself. He needs professional help. If he agrees to get it then you can decide if you want to stay with him or not after he has completed his counseling and therapy and proves he is a different man and makes amends for the damage he has caused to you. But, don't take the abuse any more from him one more day. Get out while you still have your life or stay and take the risk of losing it at the hands of a man who never learned how to control his anger. You deserve better and so do your children. My prayers are with you.

God does not put anyone in Hell. He made a way for everyone to be saved when he died on the cross for the sins of the world. But he gives man a free will to accept his salvation or to reject it. You decide your own destiny by the choice you make. And as far as those people who believe they will get to Heaven because of being a "good person" I am sorry to tell you that you are wrong. No man is worthy to enter into Heaven because of his own good works. The Bible says that man's righteousness(goodness) is like filthy rags in the eyes of God. It is not what we do that will get us to Heaven but is what He did at Calvary when he shed his blood for the sins of man. He was sinless himself, yet he took upon himself our sins and paid the price for our sins that we might be saved!! Hallelujah!!

I believe there is. If it is in the Bible and it is and Jesus does talk about it so I believe His words as a Christian.

I am surviving it by staying indoors most of the time as I have a heart condition and the extreme heat is very dangerous for me. And yes, thank God for A/C! I am also drinking more water than I usually do so I stay hydrated which is the most important thing you can do in these heat waves.

A lot of things in the Old Testament were traditions that were practiced at that time and do not apply to us today. But there are truths in the Bible that can not be taken so lightly. Truth does not change because of its unpopularity among the people. Truth is established and will always stand for all time regardless how society views it.
