Off-Topic / Re: regular water or performance water
« on: April 30, 2013, 03:54:32 pm »Message ID: 729132
I like both, but I have plain water most often.  I like the flavored performance waters, but I make them by using my own water and the powder mix.  It is too wasteful and costly to keep buying the single bottles!

Thanks, this is a good one.  I'll take a look for it.  UPS has a similar service.

I would try searching online for help and tips.  Have you tried these?  Maybe you need to see a doctor if it persists?  Maybe you have some troubles that keep you awake that you could address also?

I enjoy the surveys along with product testing, but they are harder and harder to come by.  I guess more and more people are joining, so less to go around.

I like most mild cheeses, but I only care for it melted or hot in or with something else.  I do not care for it cold.  I cannot take the texture of biting into cold cheese.

As we age from our teen years to adulthood, we mature and think more about the consequences of our actions.  We also gain knowledge, wisdom and experience to allow us to make better or more careful decisions.

It's sad and surprising that a four year old would do something like that.  He learned it from somewhere.  This sounds more like something a teenager would do.  Perhaps his family life is dysfunctional.   It's a shame that the school and the parents cannot come together to get rid of this terrible, unacceptable behavior.

Off-Topic / Re: Trend: Doctor's not accepting any insurance
« on: April 27, 2013, 11:56:09 am »Message ID: 727162
Never once heard of this happening here in New England. If it did, I would promptly find another doctor because that one there can't be all that caring or responsible! It doesn't matter if their payday comes via cash or insurance check, they're getting it either way, right? Any "professional" running a cash / personal check only business is really sketchy, in my book!

Some doctors don't accept some forms of insurance, but that's been the case everywhere throughout the years.

Also, the "Obamacare" jargon is conservative political mudslinging, seeing as the President did not propose the bill. Let's all rise above that.

Yes, I am so tired of the new healthcare laws being referred to as Obmamacare.  Something has to be done to change our healthcare industry, it should be less about profit and greed.  There needs to be a change in thinking, instead of always treating illnesses, we need to try to prevent them in the first place.  (depending on the type of illness)  Doctors get paid for ordering tests and prescribing drugs for patients etc.  This needs to change also.

Off-Topic / Re: Who loves their veggies??

I love veggies, especially green ones.  I eat a large portion with each dinner along with a tossed salad.  There are times when I eat out or at somebody's home, etc. where vegetables are not served.  I really feel like I am missing something.  Even if you have just pizza, a nice salad goes great with pizza.

I eat a larger meal in the evening.  I take a sandwich, etc. to work.  It's too expensive to eat out for lunch regularly.  After working all day, I look forward to a full hot meal with veggies, meat, side dish salad etc.   Today, I ate at a buffet for lunch and I was bloated, full and sleepy all afternoon at work.  I really did not over do it, but I did eat a fair amount.  When I came home at dinner time I did not have much of an appetite at all.  I like to come home with an appetite to enjoy a nice dinner.

I am saving for the future and paying down debt like mad.  I hope to be able to either not have to work or just work part time with something I enjoy.  These long days get to be tiresome.  I am still very grateful and thankful that I do have a fairly decent full time job.  I was laid off in 2008 and it took me 2 years to find something decent.

You can make money with affiliate marketing, but if it was that easy and you could make a decent amount of money, everybody would be doing it.

I would imagine that it would differ according to the situation.  It may not be annoying if you ask what you can to to help?  If you take action without asking first, it may make things worse.  Sometimes we may mean well or think something may help, but it may not have been the best solution.
