There were 3 men who died and before God would let them into heaven, he gave them a chance to come back as anything they wanted.

The first guy said " I want to come back as myself, but 100 times smarter. So God made him 100 times smarter.

The second guy said "I want to be better than that guy, make me 1000 times smarter. So God made him 1000 times smarter.

The last guy decided he would be the best. So he said "God, make me better than both of them, make me 1,000,000 times smarter.

So God made him a woman !!

Sounds like you have tried to go through the chain of command to stop this. Since that didn't seem to work, I have to say I think you are doing the right thing by telling the customers to complain to the head office. I wouldn't bring it up to the customer unless they come to you or say something to you about her being rude.  But if they do come to you to complain, I think you are doing exactly the right thing.

I just read it in an F. Paul Wilson book, and have heard it several times on sitcoms like Two and a Half Men and others.

No, I'm not racist if that's what your getting at.  I've just had a bad bad feeling even before he got elected.

Sounds racist to me.  But I digress.  When President Obama was elected into office, Bush left a mess behind him that The Pres had to clean up and almost impossible.  The man has done  a great job for the time he has been in office.  For god sakes give the man a break, if he was God he would be able to wipe out all the problems caused and left by Bush-the ignoramus.

Oh for pity's sake! Stop blaming Bush for the problems! Obama has been in office for almost two years and things are worse than they have ever been. Honestly, I can't decide if he is evil or just stupid. I am leaning toward stupid.  And it has nothing to do with race. Idiots come in black and white. (yeah, I know he is supposed to be really "intelligent", but you can't prove it by what he has done so far.
As for immigration reform, the only reason he wants it is so all the current illegals can get amnesty, because most of them will vote Democrat. And with the oil spill, if he had waived the Jones Act at the beginning as Bush did with Katrina, things would be a lot better. Many countries offered help, including the Dutch who have vast experience in this area, but Obama is too afraid of the unions to do what he should

Off-Topic / Standing "On" Line
« on: July 05, 2010, 06:58:04 pm »Message ID: 202558
I have been noticing when reading or watching tv, people from out west or up north (I'm in Tennessee) say "Standing On Line" instead of "Standing In Line". I really don't get it, because you are not standing ON top of a line of people, you are standing IN the midst of a line of people. I'm pretty sure everyone in the South says standing in line.
What do you say wherever you are?

If anyone has any other phrases that people say differently in other parts of the country, post them. I think it is really interesting!

I have had it happen to me several times, usually in the leg. My doctor said it was nothing to worry about, just normal muscle reactions.
