Off-Topic / Re: do you believe that the world is going to end in 2012?
« on: October 27, 2009, 03:17:30 am »Message ID: 103392
Do I believe it will end? No.  Do I believe something will happen? yes. Scientists have been mentioning for years that the earth will finish its 25,000 year wobble in in 2012, thus finalizing the changing of the earths axis.   Not to mention a comet is supposed to come very close to the earth in that year.  however, very close is something like 300,000 miles.  Not actually cose enough to do damage to us.

In the mean time, I'm rather enjoying all the "half truths" that people are spouting to scare others.  The ignorance that is running rampid is amusing to watch... though sometimes I feel that if people continue to be this way, the movie Idiocracy may change from a work of fiction to true prophecy...

It really depends on when I get my cash out and how large it is.  I may do something sensible as put it towards a computer upgrade or I may do something dumber and use it to gamble.  More than likely, though, I'll either take it to the local casino or deposit it into my brokerage account and use it to play with the "stinky pinkies".  (referring to the stocks that are traded on pink sheets, you perverts!  :P)

If i had a second chance i would redo my college years...i wouldnt have partied too hard instead focus on my schoolwork.

Lol. If I could change one thing, it would be the reverse of this.  I wish I would have spent more time enjoying my youth than spending all my time hiding away studying.

Yes, i've had that happen before as well.  I also hate it when you get half way or further into a survey and then you get a network error or a "page can not be displayed" and you have to start over from the beginning >_<

Offers / Re: Favorit Tv show
« on: October 23, 2009, 02:12:25 pm »Message ID: 102181
There are only 3 tv shows that I actually watch anymore.  Big Bang Theory, Flash Forward and Supernatural.  Anything else I usually just don't have the time or interest in watching.

Offers / Re: Cell Phone Number
« on: October 22, 2009, 08:22:25 pm »Message ID: 101987
I don't know about right away, but the charge will be on that months cell phone bill.  And you have to be careful, because some of them are "services" that will continue to charge you once a month if you don't cancel.   :BangHead:

Make sure that you ALWAYS read the fine print on these offers that ask you to input any information other than your opinion.

Off-Topic / Re: Have you ever had a book published?
« on: October 22, 2009, 08:16:14 pm »Message ID: 101986
Wish I could help you. I've had 2 childrens books published, but I wrote them while I was in high school and the school was the entity that lead to its publications.  Given that, you may want to call local universities around you and ask to speak with english or language professors. They may be able to give you advice on the direction to head.

Off-Topic / Re: Anyone know how to make Lots of Money?
« on: October 22, 2009, 08:08:32 pm »Message ID: 101982
If you want to make a lot of money here, then the biggest earner (other than the surveys) is through referrals.  OldBuddy (I believe is the users screen name) once received a payout of over $300 from mostly referral bonuses.  Keep trying to sign up people and watch the money roll in!

Outside of here, the best place earn (and possibly lose) a lot of money would be the stock market. in 2 months I was able to turn my initial $300 investment into $1500. I know that probably doesn't sound like a lot to most of you, but I'm not exactly living in luxory, so that little bit seemed like a lot to me :D

my number 1 drive is my disabled mother.  she is the sole reason I have my second drive, which is computers.  If it wasn't for her I doubt I would of went to college to learn about computer systems and networks so that I would have a good job to support her.  Thankfully, I enjoyed what I learned so much that I happily work on friends and familys systems for free, just because I enjoy the challenge and the look on their faces when I fix that "impossible" problem of theirs.

With me, a room mate and 4 cats we rescued, I'd estimate we spend around $300 a month.  The cat food and treats are more expensive than the human food. lol
