Offers / Done with Surveys that aren't really Surveys
« on: December 01, 2011, 11:02:47 am »Message ID: 454635

I always respond to the survey requests because I'm interested in being heard on such topics as healthcare. I always make it through the sex, age, income, location, portion of what I believe is truly "qualifying" for a survey. Then, I satr answering the questions, and somewhere between 50-75% of completion I get a message that I no longer "qualify" for the survey.

I don't think that because you aren't giving the "right" answers for that you should be disqualified. That isn't a survey, it's loading the statistics. There is no honesty in it, and I have already finished half, or more, of the questions so I beleive I should get paid.

America is full of skewed statistics because of this type of practice. I think its wrong, what do you think?

I have yet to qualify for a daily survey, I don't know what the deal is. Sometimes I qualify for other surveys, sites I signed up for thru Fusion, but never their dailies  :(  I don't know if I'm just the wrong target group or what. It would be nice if we could fill out the preliminary information on our Fusion account and only have to answer the "basic" questions once...then we could sorta pre-qualify for the surveys and not have to waste our time on surveys we are the wrong collor for, wrong age, wrong sex...

Thank you for figuring this out! As noob it was very frustrating when I ran into this problem and I tried several things on my own, but your solution worked!

Not sure what you mean by that.  It has worked fine for me.  If you are having problems getting something to load, credit or work right you should always try a different browser.  Kind of a pain, I know, but it beats doing the offer 20 times and never getting credit.

Well after reading other posts here I can see I am not the only one having issues. As an IT/Web person it is my nature to troublshoot these issues, but in truth I am here to make a few extra bucks and have fun, so it makes no sense for to do anything more than once for $.20 right?! So, I'll relax and let it pass and quit...  :BangHead:   ;D

Offers / Survey's take longer than stated
« on: November 11, 2011, 02:36:27 pm »Message ID: 445505
Hi,

I have only been doing this a week, but one of the things I have noticed is that most of the survey's I take, take way longer than the stated time. I'm pretty quick at this kinda stuff and have a lot of web experience, but there is no way that a "20 minute" survey is going to take an hour!

Is anyone else having this experience?

Support / Bogus Windows Phone Video?

This is a very problematic video. Half the time it won't load, if it does load it self launches so you never get the "allow" screen. I have managed to get to the end of each day with about 20 tries and it never credits me. I give up. :dontknow:

Off-Topic / Re: Why make the bed

I never used to make the bed, but then something changed, not sure what. I used to think, like most here apparently, that making the bed was a waste of time. Now, I enjoy getting into a nicely made bed, I enjoy not having a "mess" in my bedroom, I enjoy having a bed I can sit on or lay things on, and mostly I enjoy not having all the itsy bitsy pieces of stuff that always got in there when it wasn't made!

Off-Topic / Re: Anyone here ride motorcycles?

I, too, love to ride on motorcycles! We have a Harley Electra Glide Classic and have taken it on many trips.  Didn't make it to Sturgis this year, but hope to next year.  We would also like to do the Daytona trip one year.  Taking the bike to Key West afterward would be a blast.  It's such a beautiful drive down through Key Largo and over that amazing bridge of water to Key West.

My first trip to Sturgis was a gift from my girlfriend for my birthday, what a blast! We had so much fun! I had never seen anything like it in all my life, a place where motorcyles outnumbered cars 2 to 1! Going down the highway it looked like someon had stepped on an anthill

With all of the fall foliage in full color, and nice crisp air, I always love to take rides this time of year! I do my FusionCash and wait for it to warm a bit, and then head out to look at the tree's.
I would love to ride but 5 years ago I had a BAD accident. Was in the ICU for a week. My husband gave my motorcycle away. Did't even sell.  :-

I'm so sorry to hear about your accident  :'(  I'm sure it scared your husband.I am very fortunate in that my girlfriend loves to ride as much as I do! Hope all is well with you now!

Off-Topic / Re: If People Did Not Have Jesus Christ In Their Lives
« on: November 08, 2011, 10:45:41 am »Message ID: 444163
I completely disagree.  What about the many other societies that are not Christian?  What do they "hold on to."  Are you saying they can't cope?  Are their beliefs any less important?  Do they not have other coping mechanisms to get them through?  There's more than one way to skin a cat.  If your Jesus is something you need to get by great that's wonderful for you but don't speak for everybody.

I also disagree. I get through each day by knowing that I am a good person and I do the best I can with everything I do. I treat people the way I would want to be treated, accept others for who they are, and if by chance that doesn't fit with my beleifs I wish for themm all the good things I wish for myself and move on.

I find most religions to be far to limiting and intolerant. The "group think" can be dangerous and very intolerant of anything different from themselves. I don't like the "my way or the highway" mentality. IF there is a higher being, I'm sure that She would have made us all so different to make the world a more interesting place. I also believe that She would know that same "message" would not work for everyone because of the cultural/personal differences between people, and would have diseminated the message of goodness in many ways. The worlds religions have more in common than they do difference.

Tradition in our house is to get the tree the day after Thanksgiving, then decorate on the weekend. I love the people who leave them up till Valentines day! My Mom left the tree up one year till Valentines Day and we hung our cards on it!

Off-Topic / Re: Do you rake your leaves?
« on: November 08, 2011, 10:08:44 am »Message ID: 444151
I have a leaf vac that picks up the leaves, mulches them, and then I put them in the garden. If I leave them on the grass and they decompose it kills the lawn. They do work wonders in the flowers beds tho. Stops the roots from freezing and once mulched will provide nitrients in the spring. But leaving them on the lawn is a big no-no.

If I have to crack it to put it in the container...why bother?!?! It's not that hard to peel eggs. I would also be skeptical of the silicone aspect.
