Hey fc2 goodbuddy, what is your short wave handle? Not going to say mine here it might be considered a link. So, no I have not purchased a short wave radio from the FusionCash shopping mall. And why you doing this to me, making me go way back to high school and college. Radio can be AM (amplitude modulation), which is 535 kilohertz to 1.7 megahertz and is long wave. Also FM (frequency modulation) which is 535-1605 kHz; however, ... carrier frequencies of 540 to 1600 kHz are assigned "... Short wave radio bands from 3 MHz and 30 MHz...", using 5.9 megahertz to 26 and means higher radio frequency. So you can use SW over longer distances. The radios for sale are pretty good I like the brand names. But remember the radio bands have different uses. Since you have internet use, why not use internet radio (or internet tv) instead. I listen to stock market shows from Dallas, TX on the internet along with shows from NYC. Good Luck Goodbuddy!
LOL. Hey =EDW39A GoodBuddy,
I've never owned nor experimented nor ever listened to a short wave radio

. But you replied posting has opened a new world for my purchasing pleasure

. I'll remember to continue inquiring for the right short wave radio I believe I'll need. I guess I'm curious to discover which radio stations I can pick up out-of-state and internationally? I do listen internetingally speaking to some radio stations online and yes its a good format
