The best kind of exercise is exercise that doesn't feel like exercise.  Walking with my kids in the park, hiking, biking, exploring the amazing National Parks we have here in Utah, getting out and just WALKING and exploring this beautiful world we live.  Forget the gym and exercise DVDs.  With all the beauty around us to explore and see, there's no need.

It CAN work for some people.  But it takes enormous trust, patience, lack of envy...it's hard.  My parents are in an open relationship, and they couldn't be happier.  But it's tough.  It's not for me by any means. I am much too possesive and need to be treated like his one and only princess.

I'm only 30, so I don't really have a problem with grays yet.  And I have natural red hair that people say I would be crazy to change.  I don't know.  I think as I get older, it might turn into a really sophisticated white shade, like my Grandma.  So we'll have to see.

3.  Perhaps it'smy Catholic upbringing (the trinity); although I'm no longer Catholic.  The fact that two people can make a baby, and 3 then becomes family.  3 just has a magic to it.  I can't quite describe it.  So whole.  So pure.

I just saw the ad on primetime TBS, during a showing of Forrest Gump.  They edited it a bit, and had no mention of "*bleep*"--they referred to them as "things" or "suckers" in the ad.  It softens the blow to the younger generation.

If they played it on late night, as in Adult Swim or something, I'd be cool with it.  But my 7-year-old boy asked what they were talking about while we were innocently watching the movie.  I told him, because I'll answer anything he has to ask me, but it truly seemed too soon.

Anyways...have a great weekend all!

Off-Topic / Axe Commercial--not a fan

Was it just me, or was that axe commercial just lame?  I'm not conservative by any means, and I enjoy dirty jokes as much as the next person, but there is a time and place.  It just seemed in poor taste to me.  I don't want my 2-year-old and 7-year-old seeing that stuff on TV.  Am I just being too sensitive?

I might get publically flogged for this, but I'm not a fan of football.  I find it dull and slow.

I do love hockey, the olympics, and baseball, though.  But I'm weird.  I am a Red Sox AND a Yankees fan.  That's like loving Obama and Palin!  hehehehe.
