Which do you like better?
I don't care for either one; I go to Walmart if I have to use a pharmacy. I just like being able to do all my shopping in one place. I try not to go to a pharmacy at all unless it is just a matter of life versus death. LOL!!! I am not a FAN of Doctors AT ALL!!!

Do you like Skinny Cow?
I have never eaten anything from Skinny Cow. I don't think that I would like it. If I'm going to eat something like that I prefer the real thing just use portion control. Now, I love the Baby-bel cheese. It is portable and for the size it has alot of flavor!

For those of you that are members of ID..as you know if you dont qualify for a survey there they let you spin a wheel and accumulate sweepstake tickets and the following month they have a draw for prizes.

Has anyone here ever won a prize there from that?I am curious.I beleive its on the up and up but it would be nice to hear from someone that actually won something there.

Thanx
I am a member with ID, too. I do not know anyone personally who has won. I would like to know the answer to that question too. I do like the company though and have been with them for about 2 years. They are great!

Off-Topic / Re: prepaid credit cards or trational cards

i have both but i tend to use the prepaid one so i can keep the balance low on the regular one with prepaid you can't spend it if you don't have it
I use prepaid cards more than credit cards. I don't have to worry about dealing with the high interest rates. I do have a credit card but I only use it if it is a dire emergency. I found life to be alot easier if I stick to that cause without worrying about another bill each month.

Off-Topic / Re: Word search or crossword puzzles
« on: March 26, 2014, 01:39:18 pm »Message ID: 864165
I like word search puzzles since they are easier
To do. When I was in school I enjoyed crossword puzzles
Because the instructor would make them up from
The chapters in our book we had to read. I cannot do them
From the Sunday newspaper.

How about you, which do you like?
I like word search puzzles too! I like to keep a book in my purse for times when I find myself some where like the Doctors office or in the car waiting on someone. It is helpful to pass some idle time while I am waiting. I have never been able to do cross-word puzzles and get really flustered with them. So to save on my sanity I leave those alone.

I have to put all my plants in my kitchen and on my front porch because of my kitten, JC, she needs to taste them! I like my vines; and my plants make my air in my house smell good.
I have all kinds of house plants. Most of them are from my Mothers' funeral 6 years ago. I love plants and also love to garden outside. My mother was the same way, you could hardly get through her house from all of the plants.

Off-Topic / Re: Name Brands vs Generic/Store Brand: WHich do you prefer?

DO you prefer name brand items or store brand/generic items?
I buy mostly generic items with the exception to a few things. I have found that Crisco shortening seems to be a better product rather than the generic. I also buy pine-sol instead of  the generic. Some-times you get what you pay for. It may just be me but I do have my picks on certain items while on other things like paper towels generic is fine. Heck! I don't need a paper towel that is strong enough to hold a bowling ball when wet!

just Bailey's on the rocks for me - when the mood strikes!  Yum!   :angel11:
I am not much of a drinker. I may have a drink 1 time a year if it is a very special occasion. When I was a young girl and sowing my wild oates, I would drink moonshine or Jack Daniel and water. The last time I did this I got sick . I prefer to stick with my coffee.

we like both but usally get hand tossed pizza
I eat either one but my favorite pizza is a Priazzo. It is a pie type pizza with a bottom crust as well as a top crust. The filling is in between the two crust and then on the top crust is sauce and cheese. If you ever have the opportunity to try one you will not regret it . This is AWESOME!

I Used To Have Satellite Radio But Now I Just Listen To Local Stations Or CDs :)
I am a tight wad and if I can get something for free rather than having to pay for it then that is the option I'm going with. I listen to Pandora or either cd's. I also will listen to cable music because that is something that is offered in my plan, I would never subscribe to satellite radio when I have other options available that are free.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you like hot, cold, or warm weather?
« on: March 18, 2014, 02:15:42 pm »Message ID: 861899
What kind of weather do you enjoy the most?
If I have to choose the type of weather I prefer it would be Cool. I don't like it when it is real cold nor when it is real hot. My favorite weather is just cool enough where you might have to wear a layer like a t-shirt and a long sleeve. When the air is cold enough to where the end of your nose tingles a little bit. I don't like bugs even though they seem to love me, so I must say that this is my idea of the perfect weather.

I haven't been online all that much, becuz a couples weeks ago, I was in the hospital because they found a blood clot behind my knee. It was caused by the birth control that I was taking, and mostly from my knee injury. The doctor at the hospital took me off the birth control. I now have to go to the hospital to have my blood drawn regularly, so that the doctor can see if my blood lvl stays stable, I am now taking Coumadin for my blood clot, which my doctor is gonna keep me on them for 6 months. I, for one, be glad when my blood clot goes away and that I don't to take Coumadin anymore. Also, I be glad when I get off my crutches, because I don't like being on them all that much.
hello to you too!! sorry to hear about you having to be in the hospital, I was there a few days ago but nothing serious.  get well soon :rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:

I am so happy to know that you will be okay. It is great that the doctors found the clot; that is something that could have become a very serious issue. You know, it seems as though the more meds we take for what-ever ails us the more we have to worry about the dire side-effects. I sometimes wonder if the cure isn't worse than what I have a problem with. I hope that you have a speedy recovery and take great care.

My 21 year old niece just got her 20th tattoo.  She has them on her arms, legs, back, and now on her chest.  How many do you think is enough?  I'm afraid as she gets older she will regret the decision to have so many and having really large ones.
Exactly! I like tattooes but not enough to have one on my body. I am so afraid that I will regret it later on in life. Besides, I don't want to have to tell people that my tattoo is an eagle when I age and it starts to look like a buzzard or something.LOL That would be my luck. I have seen some amazing tattooes. My friend has one that is a giant python that wraps around her body in full color. She is an exotic dancer and told me that when she dances it looks like it is moving. I just take her word for that though. It is what-ever floats your own boat . I don't want one.

« on: March 14, 2014, 03:35:59 pm »Message ID: 860819
what is your favorite chip to have with a sandwitch?

Mine would be doritos..
I can eat those all day mm mmm mmm

I don't have a favorite if I have to eat a sandwich and some chips. I like all kinds of chips, especially sour cream and onion. It really depends on the kind of sandwich I have. If I'm going to eat a pb and j then it has got to be plain chips so I can put it on my sandwich. If you haven't tried this then go for it! It will surprise you!
