Off-Topic / Re: Healthy Living!

How many days of the week do you work out including cardio and weights what is a normal amount of time to workout? What exercise burns the most belly fat?

One can do exercises to strengthen the abdominal muscles, however the fat will remain.  Stubborn belly fat is usually a sign of hormonal imbalance, leptin resistance, insulin resistance, clogged colon, clogged liver (physical and energetic). Look up on Google Leptin Resistance and Jack Kruse's Leptin prescription.

Wheat and processed sugar contributes to belly fat.  Look up the book Wheat Belly: Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight, and Find Your Path Back to Health by William Davis.  Each time any form of grains are eaten, they cause an insulin spike.  Repeated insulin spikes will contribute to insulin resistance, which can eventually lead to Type II diabetes.  It also contributes to Leptin Resistance, which is mainly responsible for belly fat.  Then there's other hormones in play as well.

Exercise is great and we do it.  It's more for toning and strength, than for weight loss.  We do Zumba, and are planning to get back to the weights at the gym.  But for the extra weight, one must fix the hormones.

Foods to avoid.

Milk, ice cream, cheese.
Processed foods (anything is a box, bottle or can is processed and not natural).
Anything containing MSG, aspartame, high fructose corn syrup (HFSC), heavy metals, & other weird ingredients that can't be pronounced.
Mainstream meats (especially cold cuts which contain Nitrates)
Soy:  It's usually GMO, plus causes hormone imbalances, due to excess estrogen being put in the body.
Plastics also contribute to environmental estrogen.
Artificial sweeteners:   Aspartame, sucralose and saccharin.  (NutraSweet, Sweet N Low, Splenda, AminoSweet)
Wheat, Oats and Rye.   Any and all grains.  Which are breads and cereals.  Also crackers are made from wheat (white processd flour).  Corn should also be avoided, as it's really a grain, not a vegetable.  99% of corn is GMO.

Foods enouraged.
Any organic vegetable or fruit.   Eating veggies and fruits raw will help in cleansing the body.
Any or all meats that are anti-biotic and steroid free.  Chicken and eggs must be free range/roaming.  Fish (wild caught, not farmed fish).   Beef from cows must be grass fed and pasture raised.
If you must drink milk, raw milk which has not been tampered with in any form or fashion.  Look up Weston A. Price Foundation.
If you must eat bread, look up Paleo bread.  It can be found online.
Good news for ice cream lovers.  There is coconut ice cream that is dairy-free and is delicious.  Check your local health food store or any store dedicated to selling organics.

Avoid amalgam (mercury) fillings, as mercury in the body will suppress the thyroid gland.  Also mercury is in vaccines as thimerosal, and should also be avoided.  Vaccines are really voluntary, because the schools won't tell people that their state allows legal exemptions to them.

Avoid halogens, except iodine.   Fluoride is a halogen.  Bromine is a halogen.  Iodine is halogen.   When one drinks fluoridated water and use fluoridated toothpaste, it blocks the iodine receptors in the thyroid gland.  The thyroid needs iodine to function, which is the only halogen needed in the body.  The same with breads too, as the bleached flour is full of bromine, and will plug up the thyroid gland.  Not to mention that the grains cause the problems too.

Seaweed extracts taken in therapeutic doses will move out the bromine and fluoride/fluorine halogens and the receptors will fill up with iodine in the thyroid gland.   Look up Iodine And The Halogen Revolution by Doctor Brice E. Vickery in Goggle to explain it more, because we can't post any links here.

Taking quality supplements is a must, because even with organic food, the soils here are depleted due to modern farming methods.

By avoiding the foods in the avoid list, you all would be surprised at the weight loss.  Look up Paleo diet and Jack Kruse also in Google.

Thanks for the information. What type of seaweed extract do you take? If the Paleo diet is followed, will the hormonal imbalance, leptin and insulin resistance go away?

Yes.  According to Jack Kruse, MD, he says it takes about 6 to 8 weeks for a the leptin to reset.  He has the leptin prescription diet posted on his blog.  You'll have to Google it it find it.  However, if one cheats with just one small thing, that individual will have to start all over again.  Just a warning, so a person won't be discouraged if they happen to cheat on that.  It just means starting over again.

We have alternated with brands of the Seaweed Extract.

Vickery Sea Plant Minerals, EPXbody Daily Sea Veg (re-labeled FarmaSea for EPX company) - Pristine Ocean Blend, and the private labeled one by Healthy World Celebrations.  You'll also have to Google those to find more info.

Supplementation is important, but most stuff (especially vitamins from the mainstream grocery store) is toxic.  Google Warning Toxic Dyes In Vitamins Foods And More.

Be careful with any B-12 supplementation.  Make sure the form of B-12 is methylcobalmin, and never ever use cyanocobalmin form of B-12.  It caused hair loss in one of us.  We need the pre-methylated form.  Remember Methylcobalmin.

I prefer pancakes from the gluten-free organic pancake mix we have.  We use real butter, and local unprocessed raw honey.  Best stuff ever!

French toast is good too, provided we use Paleo bread, which is a non grain bread and gluten-free.  Put a bunch of butter and cinnamon on it with the same local raw unprocessed honey.

The Brazil Butt Lift is supposed to be a hard, but good, program.

There is also P90X that is a killer workout.

We prefer the weights at a gym, and Zumba.  Our bodies seem to handle those better.

We are members of a couple of other sites, but Fusion Cash beats them all hands down.

We just like the way Fusion is set up, and once it got figured out, it was easy to navigate and the easier to work.

I prefer FC over any of them.

Off-Topic / Re: fibromyalgia
« on: January 09, 2013, 03:32:39 am »Message ID: 669078
Fibro is a multi-faceted condition.  When asked as to what causes it, the answer is just about EVERYTHING.

Poor bio-mechanics can lead to fibro, especially after a bad accident.  It seems that the C-1 Atlas vertebrae plays a huge part into it.  Fix the atlas and the nervous system comes back online.  Also NCR (neurocranial restructuring) helps many sufferers, because when the skull (head) is on straight, the entire spine unwinds and the structure changes.

Doctor Brice E. Vickery wrote many articles about how all fibro patients seem to have the same spinal degeneration going on because of protein deficiency.  He recommends a specialized amino acid formula called Platinum Plus amino acids.  You can do a search on that and get several pages.

Dr. William Wong talks about ischemic pain of fibro and he says that fibrosis contributes to it.  He wrote an article called "Fibrosis, The Enemy of Life.  He recommends systemic enzymes to eat up fibrosis, excess fibrin in the blood, and they decrease systemic inflammation.  The main enzyme is Serrapeptase.

Also low thyroid function plays a part in fibro.  The low body temperature syndrome also known as Wilson's thyroid syndrome has the same symptoms as fibro, particularly the chronic fatigue part of it.  Dr. Denis Wilson, MD seems to think that they're one in the same.  Also another doctor name Dr. John Lowe recommends T3 (thyroid hormone) to relieve fibro.  Which is basically what Dr Dennis Wilson recommends, the only difference being that Dr. Wilson recommends the timed release form made by a compounding pharmacy.

There is a foundation called The Keshe Foundation that has promising treatments and trials for fibro.  They reason to treat the body as a galaxy in their trails.  You will have to look that up and read the part under health.  They also call it a body reset.

And sometimes vaccines can cause fibro, as admitted in their package inserts under adverse reactions.  They call it just myalgia, but they admit it in the prescribing information.  A detox would in order.

And sometimes, the body just need to detox and be fed certain nutrients to recover.  Each individual is different.

Can find all this information in a google search or use the FC toolbar search.  It's all there.

It sounds YUMMY!  I bet the same can be done with almonds too.

We buy almond butter and it's way tastier than peanut butter, so I bet almond powder would be delicious too!

Off-Topic / Re: how do you make money online
« on: January 09, 2013, 03:16:45 am »Message ID: 669072
i have join a few paid to click sites and looking for more but my problem is they all want you to have paypal or paza which i don't so unless they pay by check it isn't doing me no good i'm not into the sites that want to pay you in rewards like gift cards they don't pay the bills

What's wrong with gift cards, I have never had one that didn't get spent and they save money I would need to take away from paying bills.

While I prefer money, I don't mind a giftcard or two.  We were given one a while back and it certainly helped.

In regards to the original question, we make money online via several ways.  PTC, crowdsourcing, affiliate programs, MLM, Amazon affiliates, Facebook, and health counseling.  Every now and then, either one of us might get called to do a temp job outside the home.  It all helps.

I had someone to make me a grumpy cat and nyan cat template, so I could make memes of them.
