Off-Topic / Re: Huggies or Pampers ???
« on: September 13, 2011, 09:54:16 pm »Message ID: 416975
I use pampers.  My experience with huggies were never good.  The commercials showed that huggies can hold a lot of wetness but they would always leak for me.  I never had that problem with pampers.  They are the best.   :notworthy:

Off-Topic / What about this weather?
« on: August 18, 2011, 11:45:13 pm »Message ID: 404088
Today the high was 104.  Tomorrow we will be in luck with a whooping 102.  The weather man said that their is a 90% chance of no rain.  We're on a water shortage warning.  We can't wash our cars or fill up our pools until this drought passes.  We are allowed to water our lawn but only on certain days.  If we get caught using water when we are not allowed we get fined.  So what's going on where ya'll live.

Off-Topic / Has anyone ever been electrocuted?
« on: August 03, 2011, 02:07:06 pm »Message ID: 396030
My husband is an electrician and he was working on someones house in the attic and he was drenched in sweat.  He didn't turn off the power.  He said he has done it before and with the work that he was doing it was unnecessary.  He said he wouldn't of got shocked if he wasn't soaked.  When he got shocked he said he couldn't move.  When we realized he could move his other hand he used that to pull away and then he got released.  He has a big burn hole on one of his fingers and burns on his back.  He refuses to go to the doctor cause we can't afford it.  I told him that doesn't matter and he should go anyways.  He won't listen to me.   :'(

Hello everyone!!!  I've been an FC member for about 6 months now but I'm new to the chat room.  Let see... about myself...  Well, I'm from Houston TX.  I'm 30 years old.  I'll be 31 this month.  I've been married for almost 4 years.  I have two adorable boys.  I hope to have two girls in the future once me and my husband can get better on track financially.  My career is an A&P Mechanic but I had to quit so I can take care of my babies.  Right now I am a homemaker but I am hoping to go back maybe when my kids start school.

Off-Topic / What's wrong with my computer???

I'm about to toss my computer out the window.  It's running so slow.  I don't get on FC much because of my slow computer.  I don't think it's a virus.  I got this cd that detects it and it said it was clean.  What else can it be?   :BangHead:

I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers.  I am exactly in the middle.  Now that we're older we are all very close.  My oldest sister and youngest brother has moved away so we hardly get to see them.  I am much closer to my youngest sister.  She's my best friend.   :)

Off-Topic / Re: Jobs?
« on: July 30, 2011, 11:46:40 am »Message ID: 393373
I was just wondering if any one knew of any good jobs out there.  My husband and I are in a really tough situation right now.  He lost his job months ago and hasn't been able to find a good paying job.  We had to leave our home cause we couldn't pay the electric bill.  It's really hard on our boys.  They just want to go home.  I've been out of work for almost 4 years, ever since my first boy was born.  When I tried to go back, the job i was trying to apply for said that it will be hard for me to get a job cause of the gap in my work history.  My husband still doesn't want me to get a job, but now cause of our situation, he has no say so in the matter.  I'm a little lost.   :dontknow:

I'm sorry to hear...tough times right now, hang strong....what area of the country do you live in?
Well, I lived in a small town in Woodville, TX but because of our electricity getting cut off I had to go to Houston and stay with my mom.  Not sure how much longer we can take it.  Not much room with me and my two kids and my husband and my mom living under the same roof.  Very tough on my oldest.  He tells me every day if we can go home.  He misses his bike and toys.  It breaks my heart every time I have to tell him that we can't go home right now.   :'(

Eclipse doesn't work.  The last word was "Yam" so it needs to start with a "M".  So my word is "Misery".
