I have not gotten a flu shot and never intend to. However, from what I have seen, it doesn't seem to help most people. One lady I know took the flu shot and a couple years, she ended up in the hospital very sick. Listed with the flu shot are possible side effects of headache, fever, chills, etc. (I don't have the info in front of me). But the "side effects" are exactly what a flu is. I think it is just another way for pharmaceuticals to make money.

It is a little odd that, at least from the people I know who get the shot, I've seen more people get the flu than without the shot...

Men's razors kick women's razors *bleep*.

Just saying.

And I'm a girl.

If I had my own kitchen I would... Really!

People, if you have a kitchen to yourselves don't take it for granted! I miss meals because I'm too shy to go cook in front of the roommates... they make fun of me.

I've noticed a marked lack of initiation for the citizens to make a difference. Where is our government, really? Where, physically, can I go to ask questions or get anything done?! I've heard of caucus meetings, town meetings, but where's the real vote? Maybe I'm just stupid, or maybe I'm really uninformed like 90% of the rest of this country.

Media will always try and convince you that you're not safe. Truth of the matter is, you are. Period.

OMG has a new term as in "Oh My GOSH!!" Doesn't have to be God.

I really don't get how "Gosh" is a better word than "God" when you are really meaning to say the word "God" and replacing it with an incredibly similar sounding word. If I were God I'd probably count "Gosh" as my name...

To be completely honest, the way the education system handles AMERICAN history, I don't have much faith that they'd get OTHER COUNTRIES right.

I was taught a bit of a biased history and it's come back to bite me in the arz many times.

I get more than 100 spam emails a day and probably 150-200 non spam ones.

Wow it's surprising that you get less spam than normal emails!! :)

I have pretty bad allergies and my doctor always suggest that I get one. I got one for maybe 5 years straight and everytime I got one I would get the flu or fever or something along those lines. Prior to that I may have had the flu once when I was a little boy. Since I stopped getting the flu shot I have not had any flu like symptoms. Maybe it works for some people but it just made things worse for me. :'(

That's funny, I haven't had a flu since High School, the last time I had a flu shot.....  :dontknow:

Not for me.  I prefer anti-viral herbs all year long...or...whenever I feel inspired to self prescribe.  :)

Lovely answer! Really it's the best way. All of the pharmaceuticals we use now are derived from some sort of natural ingredient. But don't get over-zealous!
