I like broccoli, cauliflower, peas, beans, bell peppers, beets, cucumbers (pickles!), spinach, carrots... I guess I don't like onions or tomatoes unless they are cooked, but pretty much everything else is on my "Like" list.  I'm glad my parents made me eat them as a kid.  I look at some of my friends and all they eat is crappy fast food.  I can't imagine living on fried junk all the time.

Awwwwwww, Looks like a little trouble maker  ;)
Good for you guys.  My kitty is a stray we found, all skin and bones at the time, but she is plump and happy now.  She loves all the attention we give her.  Have fun with your new baby.

Off-Topic / Re: I am invited to go my friends wedding on June 28,2013

I think if it were me I would ask her outright why she was unable to make it to my wedding.  If she gave a reasonable explanation that should help you make your decision.  My second option would be to go to her wedding, but not bother with a gift.  If you are still friendly it's up to you, but if you haven't been very friendly since she didn't come to your wedding, I wouldn't want to spend money on her.  Good Luck with your debate.

I couldn't even guess who they'll add to the cast, I'm just super excited for it to be *bleep* good or better than the first installment! I can't wait to go see Iron Man 3.

I am a big fan of Groupon and Living Social. A lot of times they will have really great deals on mani/pedis or massages from local salons. Usually it is about half the normal price. So I feel like I get to do something special for myself and not feel bad about the cost since I got a pretty good discount.

Off-Topic / Re: how old were you when you learned how to do laundry ?

I watched my mom do it a lot as I grew up, so it's not like I was ever taught how to do laundry, I just kind of learned through observation. I'm pretty lazy about it though. I don't usually sort. I just throw everything in together. It gets clean, that's what's important.

Iron Man 3 and Star Trek are at the top of my list for sure. It looks like it will be a pretty good summer for the theater.

I don't use either. I'm not sure that anything so interesting happens in my life that everyone needs to know about every instant.

McDonald's fries are probably my favorite. Rally's has really good fries too. They have spices or something on them. Very tasty. Burger King keeps changing their fries and I haven't liked any of them for a while. Wendy's fries are hit or miss for me.

Off-Topic / Who Waited Until The Last Day For Taxes?
« on: April 18, 2013, 06:28:36 am »Message ID: 722554
This past year was a weird, unorganized year for me. I always have my taxes finished as soon as I get all of my W-2s and tax forms in the mail. This year I ended up screwing around and waiting until the last minute (4:30pm on the 15th) before I got them into one of those walk-in tax places. Luckily the lady was very fast and I was finished up in about 15 minutes, but I ended up way more stressed than I needed to be all because of my laziness. Did anyone else wait too long to get filed?

I've only ever been stung once, but it was between my toes. The worst part was after a few days when it was healing and got itchy. There's no good way to scratch between toes. Made me crazy.

Off-Topic / Re: Paperback or Electronic books?
« on: April 18, 2013, 06:19:25 am »Message ID: 722546
I agree, it is hard to choose between the two. I have books laying all around the house, but when I'm out and about and have to sit and wait for something it's convenient to use the e-reader on my phone. Since my phone is always with me Nd I rarely remember to grab a book on my way out the door I guess recently I've been using e-books more often than real, but if I am at home I tend to grab a paper book.

I love a good crunch from my apples. A little sweet and a little tart. I usually refrigerate mine. I love the goldencrisp apple, but of course you can only find it in fall so I usually go with Fuji or Pink Lady apples. A Granny Smith every now and then.

I like the grey better. I would get tired of the red ones after a little while and probably stop wearing them.
