Offers / Re: 60 second auto insurance quote?
« on: January 09, 2012, 11:48:14 am »Message ID: 472978
I have tried them but I don't know if I got credit or not.  I get emails but, nobody calls.  Even when I do them I don't get the same price they said I would pay, it's always higher.  I just decided to stick with the same one I have and I don't bother looking or checking out the other ones as it's a waste of time, they are way higher then the insurance company I have now.

Can someone please help me?  I have been doing the human tasks but, most of them tell me I can't do anymore.  What's up with that?  There are still some available I don't understand if there are some more to do why can't I do them?  Is there a limit on how many you can do?

I have had both cats and dogs but, I prefer dogs over cats.  Cats seem to have a mind all their own and I guess dogs do too but, you can do more with a dog.  I got prince about five or six years ago as his former owners left him to fend for himself.  It took him a while to warm up to me but, once I got him in my apartment and fed him he was all mine. :)

Off-Topic / Re: work at home jobs

I hate to bust your bubble but, I really don't think there are any unless you can afford to be in it for years before you see anything.  For the last ten years my husband and I did the work at home thing and out of all of them I can only offer you two choices.  First is Sendoutcards this company we were with for about two years and we just broke even when we got out.  We worked the business about six days a week doing cold calling and warm calling leads.  The second business was Melaluca and to be honest I didn't put as much effort in it as maybe I should have.  They do have great cleaning products!!!  I did use there soap and some other things but, I think you had to spend from thirty dollars and up a month on products each month so, if you didn't get someone signed up it came out of your pockets.  I was in it for a short time so, I don't know really if I would have been able to live on it or not.  Don't do what I did and quit your job thinking you will be making hundreds of dollars doing pretty much nothing because we put a lot of work into the first one listed.  You should have a back up plan in case you can't get people signed up and if it sounds to good to be true then most likely it is.  I wish you the best of luck!

Off-Topic / Re: Coupon ladies Charged!

I do the coupon thing from time to time and it's very time consuming if you try and do it like the show does.  No stores around here allows you to use all those coupons!  Most of the stores allow coupons for four like items however, Walmart does let you use them but, they don't like you too and will nit pick you to death. After so many coupons a CSM has to be called to turn the key- When I do the coupons I do tend to go to Walmart just because they are cheaper then the other stores and I do save a lot but, nothing like coming out with free stuff or where I come out with money back.  I live in West Virginia where there isn't any jobs so, if I can save and get a lot of stuff even if it is the same items then I will because I will use them.  I never buy anything I wont use up.

My oldest daughter is an extreme hoarder.  She was living with me for a time and I ended up telling her she had to go or straighten up her act.  She had three children and herself and they all had bags and bags of clothes so, I told her she could keep 3 outfits a piece (for each of the children) that she wanted to give them when they got older and for every one she kept to use for now she would throw out two.  We ended up taking about twenty-five big contractor bags out to goodwill.

Well, I used to sing when I was a lot younger in the school choir but, now a days I sing to the radio lol.  My voice doesn't sound very well anymore thanks to all the cigarettes and cigars I smoke.  Merry Christmas

Off-Topic / Re: How many of you love reading books?

I never used to like reading but, since my children have grown up and moved out I really enjoy picking up a good book.  I can't stand to read stuff on the net, I guess I just like the feel of a "real" book in my hands. I have read 3 books two from a woman named Trish Cherokee and one from a man named Mr. MacTavish.  I must say that I found both of them very interesting.
