Offers / Samplicious Disqualifications *at the end* of Surveys?
« on: February 25, 2012, 03:42:38 pm »Message ID: 495645
In keeping with FusionCash's 'golden rule' of avoiding disparaging derogatory remarks regarding advertisers, I will not say, "This offer sucks!" or "This offer is a scam!"

However...I merely want to remark on the obvious pattern that occurs whenever taking a Samplicious initiated survey - You take the entire survey, having answered ALL the questions about a product or service, then at the end they throw in a "Sorry you do not qualify for this survey."

Sorry--but I beg to differ. I just answered their entire survey...minus one buck. Is this disparaging? Is it derogatory? or simply stating the blatant truth?

I read searched prior posts to see if others had tried to complete a survey from them and experienced any similar issues or being dropped before pay-out. It appears that I'm not alone in this.

Number one, most surveys ask about personal stats *prior* to see if you are a fit for their product/service, *then*, THEN commence with the questionnaire. That's fair and perfectly legit to ask any question conceivable *before* asking anything about the product or service. However, if a survey asks all these relevant questions including your age, household income, etc, states that you qualify for the survey, you take the entire survey, then they cut you off at the end stating "Sorry you do not qualify...,"??? Need I state the obvious? That's just plain wrong.

For one survey I took, the last question was, "What is your birth year?" then just like that, *bam* I'm out. That ain't right. The issue *is*...they already got my age in the initial screening, so why cut me off *after* I completed their survey with an irrelevant question that they already know? Am I supposed to think, 'oh, well--Next'? How many 100's or 1000's of people are taking surveys and getting cut off? That's an awful lot of single dollar bills per person.

It. just. ain't. right.

Support / Misleading Surveys Regarding Time And/Or Topic
« on: February 03, 2012, 12:15:57 am »Message ID: 484636
I don't know if anyone else has had this same experience or they just accept it as fact, but I just took my first survey here. It was the purported 5-minute "snack survey," which took well over 1 hr and a half for a friggin buck! This was no quick 5 minute survey about whether I like beer nuts or chips either, but went on and on and on about canned meat, frozen meat, refrigerated meat, then just when I thought it was over, they start asking me about cars...how I paid...how I get them repaired...do I own any rec vehicles. Holy shizzz!

Come on, man...either FusionCash is not verifying the validity of the surveys these marketing companies pass on to them and just posting them as-is, OR these unscrupulous marketing companies are making out like thieves by stuffing as many surveys as they can into seemingly short 5-minute-snack-surveys. I noticed the marketing Co JD Powers does this a lot in their surveys, and I think it's really sneaky and unethical business practice.

Many years ago, real marketing companies used to pay actual people to come in as part of a focus group and pay the individuals around $40-$50 for a couple hrs time - That was an average pay-out for giving an honest opinion. Now, with the proliferation of the internet and everyone trying to find a way to earn a quick buck, these marketing companies via paid-survey-sites can charge a mere fraction from what they used to pay back in the day. It is what it is, but I wish the survey companies would scrutinize these surveys - better yet, take the survey themselves and see if it truly is a '5 minute snack survey' and worth a petty buck.

I swear...I almost blew a gasket in my head after the first hr passed! 1 buck for 5 minutes? 90/5 min = $18 bucks by my estimation.  ;)
