I watched the movie, havent read the book. But either way I would have just liked and not loved the book too. The end bothered me. With what they were put through I expected more, or atleast to find out what happened after.

same...stupid ending

I guess winter would be my best fashion time. Since wearing a coat covers up whatever I am wearing and hides all my fat and unsightly rolls. My favorite season is summer though.
.    This made me laugh :) I feel the same way! But my favorite season is summer even tho due to this pregnancy...I'm starting to take to spring better; my fat body can't really handle the heat! Npr are shorts very comfortable!  I won't be caught dead in a dress XD

Off-Topic / Re: I've been recommending FusionCash to homeless children of God in my town.

You want to be careful with that, for their own sake. Double check the ToS which states that members must be accessing FusionCash from their own unique IP address. It would be a cruel slap in the face for someone to be trying to make some money, only to have their account terminated because of a ToS violation.

I know there are people on this forum who have stated they don't have a computer at home and have been accessing FusionCash from their public library with no problem, but just keep this in mind from the ToS:

Quote
Users must log in and use FusionCash on their own personal computer and internet connection only. The use of a FusionCash account on a public or shared computer, or public internet connection is grounds for disqualification.

It's a shame, and you're coming from a good place in doing this, but rules like this are for the sake of the advertisers who pay FusionCash, so they can pay us.
.           I'm glad this was stated; I don't see why it offended you. It is a given that if they are homeless, they obviously do not have access to a personal computer! I see the goodness in your heart but there are other ways you can help them out, too. Teach them about how important it is to go to school and get good grades, contact your church and enquire about hiring janitors. Pay them to mow your lawn. Who is going to csh their checks anyhow? They are children...and fusioncash isn't nearly enough to help u out when u r homeless. I sat on the computer for 3 hours oneday and made about $2.00. There is no way you can make a living off of this, but God bless you for the positive idea and the story you shared.

Off-Topic / Re: have the gas prices affected your wallet

Each paycheckk I pay either my car payment or my insurance and the rest is all gas! I drive a 08 focus that gets about 30 miles to the gallon or more and I have seen a huge difference in not only how much I get for what I am spending, but also the quality of the gas.  :( whoever said gas prices do not affect our wallets has their head up their *bleep*!

Forget me nots....my grandma used to always have these all over her yard. They always make me think of her..there is also another flower I can't think of the name of it..but I want to say all "german" flowers. They probably aren't genuinely "german" but it seems like A LOT of german ppl have the SAME exact taste in flowe.rs. I used to work at a german restaurant and they would have the SAME flowers my oma did

Off-Topic / Re: RENTERS.. and Disability

Honestly I doubt that the owner if the house is responsible for a person who becomes disabled. That expense would fall on the disabled person. In addition to that, the renter needs permission from the owner in order to make those improvements.
.      I also believe this to be true

It really depends on what it is. Pop goes with pizza and junkfood. Water goes with spagetti, chicken and potatoes, etc....

Off-Topic / Re: Do You Read Customer Reviews?
« on: March 17, 2012, 10:35:19 am »Message ID: 506512
I do also it has stopped me from buying many things I also check the health inspections on local resturaunts

DO NOT trust the health inspections on restaurants!! Our restaurant passes everytime good "grades" and it is the dirtiest thing I have ever seen. First of all most places KNOW when or about when the inspector is going to come in so they "prepare" for it. Our restaurant has *bleep* roaches, we wash our dishes with laundry detergent, but mostly just spray them off. There are some dishes we don't wash AT ALL because they "keep" longer. We drop food on the floor all the time and use it, we reuse stuff that customers take back, they smoke in the back of the restaurant, they use their bare hands to make the food and we get about 5 complaints about "hair in our food" a day. There is SO MUCH more this place is horrible and I would LOVE to turn us into the health department but they will know it's me because I complain about everything and I can't lose my job  :-
