Debate & Discuss / Re: Is Obama the Second Coming?
« on: April 06, 2012, 09:55:23 pm »Message ID: 516896
Second coming of what?  I don't understand why he had to come the first time.  Was it Hawaii or Kenya Africa?  Many of us are still trying to figure it out.  And he certainly is not a saviour to anything, except maybe congress and his family, that's about all.

Obama has certainly done enough.  His administration has messed up my economy for the past 4 years, and I'm sure many of you as well.  If you've benefited by his administration, let one of us know as I haven't met anyone yet.  I would vote for Jesus if He were running, but that will all come in due time, about the time of the One World Government I'm sure.  So I guess for now, I'll just have to settle for someone that is NOT Obama.  If he says "Yes, we can!" again, I'm going to say, "No, we can't!"

I would say for myself, it would probably have to be bbq chicken.  My wife usually cooks the chicken in a pan of water before she places them on the grill so that we eliminate any possible chance of not thoroughly cooking the chicken to prevent sickness, etc.  And of course, steak is always good bbq'd.

In keeping with the policies of the site, I can provide you with information about a site that my daughters use to watch movies and many that just come out in the box offices as well.  It would probably be best you reply to my account if you would like to know more, as I would rather not post any links here.  And the links are not inappropriate either.  I'm just keeping with the policy as I understand about posting external links and the like.

Off-Topic / Re: Amazon vs. Overstock vs. Ebay which do you use?

Like anything, I guess it's a matter of preference.  I've used ebay before so that's what I would probably go toward.  I've never used the others so I don't know nor can I speak on those.  In addition, if any of you didn't know, in addition to auctions, you can specify a Buy Now price if you don't want to chance losing a certain amount of money on the items you sell.  Plus the convenience of Paypal has always been good for me as well.

Since politics is usually one of those touchy issues along with religion, I will put my vote this way.  Whomever displays the most godly characteristics is the one I will be casting my vote for.  We certainly need a man or woman who will put our country back on track to godly principles that will benefit all Americans and not just a select few or the ones that pay the politicians to vote a certain way but not based on selfish personal interests, but rather the good of the whole.

Debate & Discuss / Re: Will You Be Attending Church Service on Easter Sunday?

But you will attend Synagogue for Passover I suppose, which is good as well, since after all, I got to thinking that if it were not for God delivering the Israelites out of Egypt, all nations of the earth would be affected in a very bad way, since I do believe also that all races are important to God but especially Jewish people being His timeclock.  I wholeheartedly believe in His Word especially when it says that God blesses those that bless Israel but for the same token, God will also curse those that curse Israel.

Shalom and may you have a great Pesach.  And may His mercy be upon you always.

I'm also very new to this as well, but certainly not unfamiliar with computers.  Does anyone ever make enough money out of these to make a living if they wanted to, or just a little bit of spare cash?  I'm kind of curious as to what time and effort it takes to be successful, and though yes I can agree that about every other thing I've been involved with, they were certainly not get rich quick, though many seemed to falsely promise just that, mostly MLMs unfortunately.

I can use some tips as well, and perhaps if someone can enlighten me as to if it's possible to have a target, say of $10, $15, $20 per hour, etc., if say someone wanted to make this a full time opportunity.

Thanks and God bless all of you this Good Friday and Easter.

It's very interesting to see that even as a minister, it amazes me how that whenever a Christian post is made, a non-Christian has to put their two cents in, which at today's minting prices, is worth even less than that after the profit loss.  Also interesting is that usually, if we are living the way Christ commanded us, we don't usually go to an agnostic or atheist's site to argue their issues.

Ultimately, God is fully able to defend Himself with or without us, whenever He so chooses.  And since He is not on our timeclock since He made time anyway, He does not have to defend Himself against those that make a mockery of Him.

With that, if you do not believe in God, then leave us Christians alone that want to believe in Him.  Just as others can even believe in Santa if they want to.  As for me, if not for the life, death, burial, ressurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ, and greatest of all, being born of His Spirit, I would have no desire to be a Christian if it were not for the only God that has ever chosen to die for His creation rather than having His creation die for Him.  If we died for Him, we would still be considered a sinful sacrifice.  But because He was, is and will always be righteous, it's the only means of salvation that makes sense, thus why I celebrate not only the remembrance of Easter and attending church, which my family and I actually go to bring service to a nursing home on Sundays, but also the remembrance of the Passover, since without the Jew, there would neither be an old nor new testament, with Jesus being the God of the old as well as the new.

I don't know if many take this quite serious enough just yet.  But it is true.  When I served in the military, they actually have this system in place and due to the nature of this type of transaction, it's best that I don't even go any further than that online.  The point is, everything is already in place for a "cashless" system and therefore, most are unaware and I'm sure, will be ignorant of it's ultimate purpose in controlling what we all do.

For those that believe in the Word of God, God is still able, even in times like this, to provide for His people.  I am a minister of the gospel and therefore take these things serious as well.  But the most important thing of all is to simply be ready, not for the system but for Jesus to come back soon.

Thank you for the post.  I think that there needs to continue to be some sort of discussion and I may address some things on my ministry site in the near future as well, as I do cover a number of topics there as well.
