Off-Topic / Re: Does your dog snore?
« on: January 29, 2014, 04:16:10 pm »Message ID: 844732
My dog is currently in the bedroom just snoring away!  It's sooo funny, she's so noisy!  I'm in another room and I can hear her really well.

It just makes me laugh so much ... she's a Pomeranian mix and old, but man can she SNORE!
You know that it is funny that you mentioned this. I have a small dog that snores, too. He doesn't do it all the time just when he really gets some good sleep just chillin' in the recliner with me or another family member. You know when it is going to start cause he will flip over on his back. He will have all 4 of his feet pointed straight up in the air. It is so funny to see. If you didn't know better you would think he weighed at least 100 lbs. by the sound of his snoring. He might weigh 8 lbs soaking wet! You can't help but LOVE EM!!

i used to have a dog that snores too. she was also old. now i have a cat and she also snores.

After five years in our home, we finally got around to some of the boxes in the basement. Old computer software from the 80's and 90's and a gazillion college textbooks from my husbands computer stutudies days.  Does anyone have any idea what websites sell old (I mean really old...graduate degree in 2003) computer science textbooks.  We probably paid thousands of dollars for these and would like to do something with them other than start the fire. ANy ideas anyone?

Just about everything i cook is made from scratch. When i grew up we did not have all these boxes and frozen meals. Most of them taste funny too me. i guess i will be doing homemade the rest of my life. I really like too cook and have been cooking since i was 10. And am now almost 71.
homemade food made from scratch is a way to go. a lot cheaper and more nutritious for you. You know whats in it.

Diets don't work, only making a lifestyle change will work.  If you eat healthy, you wont have all those restrictions.  A whole new world of foods is opened up to you just by being healthy and eating fresh foods.
yes , i agree you have to change the portion of what you eat. and eating healthy helps a lot too.
