Okay so I finished the Cassie Edwards book late Sunday night and I got the call from the library on Monday that book 7 of the Lara Adrian series was finally in. However I didn't get to stat it until tues. morn. I did get to page 200 of 383 last night before cutting my light out at 11:30 so I did get the 5 1/2 books in for the month.

I like the do-si-do's dunked in a glass of milk. And there is another one I like that they aren't doing anymore.

I really think 13 is too young and some may call me hypocritical because my 13 year old does have a boyfriend. Sort of... Where we live we have several counties around us. One of her two best friends goes to school in the county on one side of ours and the other in the county on the other side, but there is still others. She see's her boyfriend at services on Friday night and at Sunday school because he is about 45 minutes from our house. They haven't gone on an official date but have been together with youth group events or when there was a party the whole congregation is attending.

I can't stand the electronic readers. I have to have an actual book in my hands.

I finished the Lynsay Sands book on Tuesday evening so that is four for the month. The Lara Adrian book still hasn't come in yet so I started a Cassie Edwards book on Wednesday morning and I am already on page 112. Should be done in the next couple days and can try to get 6 in for the month before next Sunday. Or at least 5 1/2.

I am handicapped so I don't go out to work and my husband does not want me to do any work around the house unless either he or the 20 year old is at home. If my heart kicks in and nobody is home... So I occupy myself with reading. It is a great stress reliever for me which keeps my heart from racing... So now onto my count... It's been a while since I was able to come up to the library and get on the computers so since the last time I was on I have finished 2 more books and am almost half way through another. The next book in the series doesn't come out until Sept. so I am going to have to figure out what to read in the mean time.

I appreciate how much you read because that's quite an accomplishment. And obviously, you're very proud of that fact and deservedly so.

But is there some reason why you can't suggest some good books to read for the rest of us instead of just tallying the number of books you've read?  ??? I'm sure many of us would really appreciate it.  :highfive:

:fish:

I tend to read a lot of the different historical romances by various authors but I really enjoy Lynsay Sands(both her historical and vampire), Lara Adrian, Maggie Shayne and Cassie Edwards. I hope this helps you. They aren't small books, there is at least 300 pages per book. I don't really like books that are less then that... Now then... I finished my second book for the month on Friday evening and started a new Historical I found at the library(new in the sense that I haven't read it yet but new as in just published...) I'm waiting for book seven to come in of Lara Adrians Breed series. Hopefully by time I finish this book in the next couple days I would think. (If I can get rid of this on going migraine.)

My 13 year old would like to go out one last time before she gets to old. Our neighborhood isn't the best though so we have to find a church or something that does a trunk or treat and is open to the public and not only church members. Her 20 year old sister loves to still dress up so she is planning on being a black cat and the 13 year old is into Monster High so she wants to go as one of the characters.

Believe me I understand about barking dogs. My black lab doesn't like to be outside in the back yard any more because of the neighbors dog that moved in a year a ago. Angel used to spend all day in the yard and only come in when it was raining, cold or at night. Now she goes out to go to the bathroom, stays about ten minutes then wants back in.

Well I finished the book I had started and put down last night. So one and a half for the month so far. Picked up another book from the rack at the library while I wait for them to get the fourth book of the series I am trying to read in. we'll see how far I get in this before they do. If I am more then half done when the fourth book comes back then I will continue with this one till I finish.

Well didn't finish five for the month. Actually I didn't even read the book I had started. I got 26 pages in and the library called saying that the third book of one of the series I'm reading was in so I put the other book down and started reading it instead. So the total for August is four and a half books cause by the end of the 31st I was on at least 170 of 360 and I just finished it a couple hours ago so half a book for September.

Pages: 1 2 3 ... 67
