Off-Topic / Re: Pancakes or waffles?
« on: March 28, 2013, 03:55:50 pm »Message ID: 711293
I like both pancakes and waffles. If I had to choose of the two it would definitely be waffles. My most favorite way to eat waffles are with chicken. Chicken and waffles together with syrup and butter on the waffles is heavenly  :angel12:. I love eating out at restaurants that serve waffle and chicken, too. So, so, delicious, getting hungry now, lol.

I eat more chicken. The reason that I chose chicken is because there are just so many ways you can prepare it. Also, chicken just taste so much better. I mostly eat beef when I want to fill my iron quota or when I need a change from all the chicken I cook.

Off-Topic / ....WILL THIS COLD WEATHER EVER LEAVE?
« on: March 27, 2013, 05:12:02 am »Message ID: 710578
It has been winter so long here in Atlanta that when summer   8) arrives I don't think I will know how to react, seriously! When I turn on the tv and watch the daily news and watching all the blizzards, snowing and other very cold weather situations it's like living winter all over again. Common summer America is waiting for you

Off-Topic / Re: What was the first video game and/or system that you played?

If I recall I believe it was Pacman. Then later came Mrs. Pacman, good times  :). I don't see these two games around that much anymore. I do run across them in  movie game arcades whenever I go to the movies with family and friends.

You are right I thought springtime was here in Atlanta a few days ago. Well, this didn't last long  :D. The weather currently and for the past three days has been nothing but low wind chill factors that's been causing very cold and freezing weather. There have been droplets of snow here and there.. I do enjoy looking at the snow but that's it. The snow provides that catalog image of a white winter.

Off-Topic / Re: When you look out your kitchen window, what do you see?

I see the front view of my neighbors apartments. I can, also, see the sky and all the nature below it. One of the reasons I love apartment complexes because you have  neighbors all around you which could serve as a crime deterrent  :).

Off-Topic / Re: Have you ever been stung by a bee?
« on: March 24, 2013, 10:52:31 am »Message ID: 709239
Yes, I have been stung by a bee before. This happened when I was a young girl around 12 years old. I loved to play outside. I got stung when me and my brothers decided to disturb a bumblebee nesting  ???, why in the world did we do this, lol. We each got sticks and tried to knock the nest off the top of the shed corner. Without any notice a whole bunch of bees started flying out of the nest and we all started running and screaming around the yard. Two of us got bit  :'(. Our mom put some ointment on the bee stung area as it started turning red and blistery, ouch!!!!

To me it really doesn't matter who Tiger dates. It looks like his golf performance is getting better because now he is not sneeking around and dating. He's decided to come public with it. The stress of not hiding his interracial dating seems to be making him play better. I wish him well in his life

Off-Topic / Re: Where do you put your bacon / beef grease?
« on: March 22, 2013, 03:42:05 pm »Message ID: 708463
I used to keep my grease from cooking bacon or beef in a metal can but now for health reasons I do not. I just found out that after a day or two of keeping the bacon/grease juices they can turn into some kind of bacterias. Don't know how true this statement is but I prefer not to take chances, as this does seem logical as the greases contains lots of fats-left over fats  ???

Debate & Discuss / Re: What is the best Easter meal?
« on: March 20, 2013, 01:42:49 pm »Message ID: 707453
I don't exactly know what the best Easter meal is as I never really had one. But I do know that by the end of the day I have eaten so many colored or painted boil eggs with the kiddies that you can bet it want be a big meal. Normally, I would grill some hot dogs or hamburgers later on that day for the people who hadn't got to full from eating so many Easter eggs, not to mention all the candy and sometimes, cookies, too  :-[ ugggggh, lol, I feel sick even thinking about an Easter meal  :).

I love fishing, especially fresh water fishing. I enjoy sitting on a boat and catching fish. I am however, am jitterish of the worm/bait that we use sometimes on the pole or fishing rod. I can handle the jelly like copycat(artificial ones) worms/baits, lol. Once someone puts the worms/baits on my hook I am good to go . I like the thrill of catching the fish, then, relaxing and laying in the sun in-between fishing. Most of all I really love eating the cooked fish  ;) Delicious!

My parents moved many times when I was little. We, also, moved to several cities and states. They didn't narrow it down to keeping just one house until 15 years ago.The last house that they are living in now is/will be their last house as their ages are in the 70's now.

Off-Topic / HAIL IN ATLANTA, WOW!
« on: March 18, 2013, 04:34:17 pm »Message ID: 706414
Atlanta was hit with the three weather conditions all at once: Severe thunder storms, tornado watches and hail. The hail was totally out of no where and get this there were hail the sizes of golf and baseball. I couldn't believe this. I heard something falling very hard on my rooftop and apartment walls(outside) didn't know what it was. I looked out of my window and was in total  :o awe. I am used to the thunder storms and and tornadoes but not the hail.
Didn't see this one coming!
