Off-Topic / Re: heavy metal and religion

Heavy metal music is just not one of my favorite genres regardless of what the lyrics say.  It's a little difficult to actually hear them, so who cares?

Off-Topic / Re: Does anyone like to floss?

I wouldn't say I like it, but when I see what ends up on the floss, I know that brushing and rinsing my teeth alone isn't doing the job.  It really is important not only for the sake of keeping your natural teeth, but for your overall health too.

Support / Problems with Videos?
« on: July 01, 2013, 04:59:49 am »Message ID: 758828
For the past few weeks, I have been having problems getting the videos to load.  I go to that page and the list of available videos comes up briefly and then disappears right away.  Every once in a while, I am quick enough to click on the very first video but often I don't even get that.  If I refresh the page, I get a message that there are no available videos.  I have tried restarting my browser and that doesn't help.  I guess I may have to switch to a different browser.  Just wondering if anyone else has a similar problem and what resolved it for you.  Thanks!

Debate & Discuss / Re: what would you do in this situation?
« on: June 01, 2013, 01:53:14 pm »Message ID: 745398
If you have an Internet relationship and you haven't met in person in a relatively short period of time, chances are it will never take off.  No matter how well the two of you seem to get on online, things are different when you meet face to face.  People are often not the way they represent themselves.  Also, you can't really tell if you have chemistry until you meet in person.  Finally, the two of seem to be having issues already and very different ideas about what this relationship should be about.

As for the rest, it could be a scam and then again it might not be.  On the other hand, if you have never met in person, you have no idea whether she's really Ghanaian or really a woman even.

I prefer Dr. Pepper or Mr. Pibb, but I will drink Pepsi, Coke , or Seven Up if neither of the first two is available.

Debate & Discuss / Re: TV Shows Ending

I was disappointed that Smash was canceled also.  I like Walking Dead, Hannibal, Lost Girl to  name a few that are still on and used to like Gray's Anatomy although I think will only be on one more season.  Shows have life cycles and it's best for them to go out at their peak I think.

Debate & Discuss / Re: How do u stop sweets cravings?

Honestly, it's easier just to not eat them at all.  Once I get that craving, it's like I keep wanting.  Try real fruit to satisfy it.

My boyfriend and I are hoping to go to the zoo this weekend if the weather is good. I love watching the big cats like tigers and lions.  They remind me of large versions of our house cats lol.

FusionCash / Re: Mystery of the missing posts!!

That's odd.  I've seen posts removed if they violate FC policy like the parties were flaming, but I'm sure that they would have told you if that happened. Does FC archive older posts and maybe they fall out of the count that way?

Debate & Discuss / Re: Do you go to your high school reunion?
« on: May 30, 2013, 05:10:41 am »Message ID: 743550
No.  There's only one person from high school that I try to stay in touch with if you call being Facebook friends staying in touch that is.  I didn't have much in common with those people in high school for starters.  Going to a reunion would be like working into a room of strangers IMO.

Actually, this is one of the reasons I live in a condo.  No yard work!

Off-Topic / Re: Do you wear your seatbelt?

I do wear mine all the time.  If you are in an accident, your injuries will be less severe plus the other party's insurer can argue that you were contributorily negligent by not having it on.  Also you get cited for it if a police officer pulls you over for some equipment violation they'd normally give you a warning for.

I'm moving my office of the past 16 years at the end of the week so I went in there for a while to sort and clean so that my week isn't TOO hectic lol.

If this is something you want to do, then ignore them or, if they continue to start in on you, just cut them short.  Tell them you appreciate their concern, but this is your life and your choice.

I never saw them before three years ago.  At first, I thought they were coming in because of a tree that's near the living room window.  However, I continued to see them when it got cold even after the tree was trimmed back.  I'm in Ohio.
