Little Richard, Flamboyant Rock and Roll Pioneer, Dies at 87

Little Richard, flamboyant rock ‘n’ roll pioneer, dead at 87
3 hours ago · NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Little Richard, one of the chief architects of rock ‘n’ roll whose piercing wail, pounding piano and towering pompadour irrevocably altered popular music while introducing black R&B to white America, died Saturday after battling bone cancer. He was 87.

I just found out my step mom in Michigan has the cornona virus and not doing well at all.  She has dementia and other medical problems.  She was in a nursing home. The last time I saw or talked to her was 2 years ago and she had no clue who I was but I am happy that I made that trip to see her.  For a long time we did not talk because of the way she treated my dad and my sisters.  My dad passed away 4 years ago and she has been in nursing home for about 3 years now.

Well that was sweet of you to visit her despite what she has done. It's good to patch things up and not to keep it hidden within.

It can be very stressful staying at home so I am trying to find things to keep my self busy or distracted from the fact that this virus is going to be around for a while. What do you do to deal with this stress.

It is not stressful at all being home. What is stressful is the situation that we are in. Nonetheless this too shall pass.

Essentially, how much money (if you can go back that far and estimate) have you made in surveys from when you started doing them till the present? For me, I'd say around $15,000 in about a decade.

I really have no idea lol. I have been working online at some compasity since 2006. It must be a lot by now.

I have often heard that phrase and think I should enter as many contest as possible in order to win something. Well, it does not work for me.  How many winners do we have out there and how many entries did you submit?

I think it is about working hard that is how you win. As for myself I have yet to win anything though I would be very happy.

Why People Don't Following Social Distancing?

Do these people don't the HIGH risk of getting COVID 19! Men & women have gotten the COVID 19 including Doctors, nurses, firemen & police. Anyone can get it even senior citizen in retirement home. Please close down retirement homes for outside visitors.

Parts of California is not following social distancing - Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside & San Bernardino Counties! These places are on the highest of the state!  >:( >:(

Please stay 6 feet apart when your shopping in the grocery stores. Please stay home & be healthy!!

Unfortunately not everyone is following the social distancing. Some people don't believe it is a big deal and don't understand why the entire country has shut down. For me in particular I'm taking it seriously and am home for the most part. Lets see what happens! Stay safe and blessed everyone mmmmmm ya.

Now that it is warmer out I can open the windows.  The air outside smells fabulous,  it's like a giant ionizer.  The air also looks a lot clearer.  I read an article recently that said in India they can see some mountain from 125 miles away for the first time in almost 40 years.  Wild life is also making a big appearance. :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose: :rose:

It's always great to see the positive sides to everything. Here in New York it is still pretty cold though. Guess I just have to be patient.

Off-Topic / Re: Government Check Scam
« on: April 30, 2020, 10:29:39 pm »Message ID: 1322993
Watch out for scams! A friend of ours called me first thing yesterday saying he was reading an email that said if he didn't file taxes for 2018-2019, he had to go to a certain site and put in his bank info so he would get his "stimulus funds." Not so. It's a scam. I don't think he fell for it (I hope). IRS stated that these checks aren't called "stimulus checks." They are called  "economic impact payment"  by the IRS and the IRS does not call or email anyone about these checks.

I have been receiving scam emails a lot over the years but it's getting really bad now... especially about charge cards I no longer have and companies I buy from but the way I tell if it's real is from the "FROM" email. If it doesn't have the company's "@copmany," it's fake. I'm so tired of sending these emails to the companies because some days, it takes hours. At least Nigeria has given up on me after 7 years. If they were so true, I'd be a 10x billionaire by now.   >:(

It is sad about all the out pour of scams going around because of the pandemic. Some people have not yet gotten their checks from the government and are desperate as bills are due for this month. While others just want more and are just greedy. Not to worry this too shall pass.

There is a new wave of hating Chinese people.  My best friend and her husband adopted a child from China.  She was 5 when she came here and is now 100% American.  She doesn’t remember anything about China and has or had no desire to return.  She has heard sarcastic remarks lately, “killer, go the fxxk home, it’s your fault”.  Seriously, what did she do, nothing.  If only those people knew her job is an ICU nurse in one of our hospitals, and she might one day help you or a family member, but she puts her life on the line every day and I’m positive none of her patients care that she’s Chinese!

I think the whole thing is ridiculous seriously. There is no need to blame one another we all need to just work together and help one another. Stay safe everyone.

Finally getting credit for Tap surveys again!  This seems to happen every year.  It would be really nice, if our DQ money would count toward our PTC when Tap goes down.  Gets really frustrating trying to earn a measly 5 cents a day to get the PTC credit.

Ya I see we are finally getting credited again. I see I have not gotten credit for all the other surveys I have taken which sucks. I at least got re credited for a few. With the surveys it always a chance you are taken I wish it was better for us.

I signed on to send earnings this morning and they said they were closing at the end of June. It is sad, another site I did pretty good that is closing. Does anyone have another good site they can share.

Hiya! :D :)

Ya I found that out yesterday as I was reading one topic on here. I have mixed feelings about inboxdollars and Sendearnings. Inboxdollars when you first started it was easy to make money then after that you can barely make anything and the cash out is so much for such little things to do. So like I say I guess it depends on how patient you are.
