Off-Topic / Re: Any PTC people on here?
« on: May 30, 2008, 10:55:04 pm »Message ID: 27664
I know that most people on here are constantly looking for good GPT and sometimes survey sites. Just wondering, does anyone here participate in the ptc world? if so what are your takes on those?

I do quite a few PTC sites. The only downside to those types of sites are the payouts take longer to get as most sites only pay .2 - .5 per ad clicked.

Like Hits4Pay for example: I joined them back in Oct. of last year. I got a $10.00 sign on bonus and as of right now, my total is only $18.96-cashout is when I reach $25.00. So, I've only made $8.96 from clicking. My estimate is that when I do reach cashout, I will have to earn another $25.00 to cashout again and that will be by just clicking (as they won't pay me another $10.00 sign on bonus). That'll take a whole year more than likely.

So only downside is the time it takes to reach cashout amount. The good thing is I belong to about 5 PTC sites and joined them at the same time (or around the same time) and when I do reach cashout for each of them, I will get a good chunk of change for the total of all 5 sites (some are cashout at $30.00).

Hope this answered any questions you had.

Directly from the IRS website regarding WHEN & WHO gets their Stimulus payments. Also, they are sending them during July as well so to the person who said only till end of May is misleading everyone. And they are NOT adding the last 2 digits of SS#'s to see when people get their payments. They are going by the last 2 digits of the SS#'s  and going from lowest (get their payments first) to the highest (get theirs later on).

All people have to do is go to the IRS website.

Economic stimulus payments will continue on a weekly basis through July

People who use direct deposit also will be among the first to receive the payments starting April 28. Direct deposits will be made daily and completed on the dates listed below. Payments should be received by close of business on the dates listed below

DIRECT DEPOSIT

Last two SSN digits:  Payments will be transmitted no later than:
 00 through 20                           May 2
 21 through 75                           May 9
 76 through 99                           May 16

Paper checks will also go out based on Social Security number. For Social Security numbers ending in 00 through 09, the paper checks will be mailed starting May 9 and will continue through May 16. A similar process will be repeated in the following weeks.

Please allow additional delivery time, perhaps 3 to 5 days, since the paper checks are being sent through the mail.

PAPER CHECK

Last two SSN digits:  Payments will be mailed no later than:
 00 through 09                      May 16
 10 through 18                      May 23
 19 through 25                      May 30
 26 through 38                      June 6
 39 through 51                     June 13
 52 through 63                     June 20
 64 through 75                     June 27
 76 through 87                     July 4
 88 through 99                     July 11

People who file a return after April 15 will receive their economic stimulus payment, but probably later than the schedule shows. A return must be filed by October 15 in order to receive a stimulus payment this year. See the online calculator for an estimate of the amount you will receive.

One day I met a sweet gentleman and fell in love. When it became apparent that we would marry, I made the supreme sacrifice and gave up beans.

Some months later, on my birthday, my car broke down on the way home from work. Since I lived in the countryside I called my husband and told him that I would be late because I had to walk home. On my way, I passed by a small diner and the odor of baked beans was more than
I could stand. With miles to walk, I figured that I would walk off any ill effects by the time I reached home, so I stopped at the diner and before I
knew it, I had consumed three large orders of baked beans. All the way home, I made sure that I released ALL the gas.

Upon my arrival, my husband seemed excited to see me and exclaimed delightedly: 'Darling I have a surprise for dinner tonight!'

He then blindfolded me and led me to my chair at the dinner table. I took a seat and just as he was about to remove my blindfold, the telephone
rang. He made me promise not to touch the blindfold until he returned and went to answer the call.

The bake d beans I had consumed were still affecting me and the pressure was becoming most unbearable, so while my husband was out of the room I seized the opportunity, shifted my weight to one leg and let one go. It was not only loud, but it smelled like a fertilizer truck running over a skunk in front of a pulpwood mill. I took my napkin from my lap and fanned the air around me vigorously.

Then, shifting to the other cheek, I ripped off three more. The stink was worse than cooked cabbage!!!

Keeping my ears carefully tuned to the conversation in the other room, I went on like this for another few minutes. The pleasure was indescribable. When eventually the telephone farewells signaled the end of my freedom, I quickly fanned the air a few more times with my napkin, placed it on my lap and folded my hands back on it feeling very relieved and pleased with myself.

My face must have been the picture of innocence when my husband returned, apologizing for taking so long. He asked me if I had peeked through the blindfold, and I assured him I had not.

At this point, he removed the blindfold, and twelve dinner guests seated around the table chorused: 'Happy Birthday!'

I fainted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO!!!!

remember you can only hold your funds in for 3 months then you should cash out.
I want to cashout now. I'm not ok with having to wait 2 1/2 months to get the money I've earned. Once my cashout Is approved, I'll not be doing this anymore.
You apparently missed what froggy was saying about the 3 months thing.
It used to be that you could "sit" on your cash for up to 3 months (collect for 2 months and cashout the 3rd month).
But FC a while ago changed it and it's now 180 days (6 months). Meaning you can collect/build your cash up and cashout on the 6th month. Doesn't mean you HAVE to.

You can cash out each and every month if you so wish to do so. As long as you have at least $25.00 and $15.00 of it has to be from completed offers.

Hope you're a bit more clear now.
So does that mean we don't have to wait until next month to recieve our money?
Cashouts are at the end of every month. Some people cashout mid month and should actually wait till the very last day of the month.

For instance, cashout on April 30th and payment is on or around the 20th of May.

You always get paid the following month after cashing out, regardless of WHEN you cashed out the previous month.

For instance, cashout on April 15th, you still won't get paid till on or around May 20th.

That's why it's best to wait till the last day of the month to cashout. Makes the wait seem less.
I don't think thats fair that we have to wait. I regret joining and asking my friends to join. I'll be letting them all know how It Is on here and suggesting them not joining.

Sorry to hear that. But that's how FC operates. Perhaps next time before joining a site, you'll read the sites TOS.
All of your misconceptions could have been avoided here if you would have read FC's TOS first as it's clearly stated there their terms on payments & such.

Best of luck to ya.

It's actually 180 days (6 months)
It used to be 90 (3 months) and FC changed it a while ago.
Unless I missed something & they changed it AGAIN, it's 180 days- (collect for 5 months and cashout on the 6th month).

Correct me if I'm wrong Kohler
