I could never choose a single favorite book:

I read a lot of what is considered in the Horror genre, but I wouldn't necessarily
classify some of it as that. My favorite author is Dean Koontz. My favorites of his
are the Chris Snow books ("Fear Nothing", "Seize The Night") and the Odd Thomas series.

I really like John Saul. "Black Creek Crossing" is my favorite of his.

Ridley Pearson is good with Crime Fiction. I love all of his books that include
Lou Boldt/Daphne Matthews as characters.

I also enjoy a little Young Adult Fiction from time to time. Harry Potter,
The Inheritance Cycle (the Eragon books), anything by Rick Riordan.

The Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay.
