i don't put in much. most days, it's as long as it takes me to get through the dailies. usually no more than 30-45 minutes, at the MAX. they don't usually credit for me, except the PTC one, which i always do. a lot of people have a good time with the other two dailies working for them though, so always try everyday!

there are sites that allow you to post links for paying sites. i don't use any of them, but a friend of mine does. you can google them.

also, start a blog, and spread the word!

do the free/no CC needed offers first.
get as many referrals as you can.
always try the daily offers, even if the two don't go through for you often.
post on the forum! you will get tips from others, make friends, and if you reach 30 posts a month, you can get 3 bucks (granted, you submit your form.)

eh, i agree that a lot of the surveys get boring and repetitious, but FC helps us with what they can...case in point, the daily offers you can do, the contests there seldom are, and this 30-post-a-month bonus.

maybe these "dream" paid survey sponsors don't exist haha

i cashed out again last month it'll probably be another month or so until i am able to reach it again though :/ i've done all the free offers, and the dailies often do not credit for me. i still try though!

be there for them. help them with what you CAN.

i am in the medical field, and there are a lot of people who feel they can fully take on the responsibility of caring for a family member or dear friend when that person can no longer care for themselves. sometimes they realize it's too much, and they end up burnt out, frustrated, and don't enjoy their time with the person anymore...which is the most important thing.

if your parent is going to need long-term care, offer to do it all or as much of it as you can, if you can handle it, without compromising your own peace at mind, health, or accomplishments. if not, it doesn't make you any less of a good child to get some help.

the offers add up though, and make sure to do the dailies everyday. or try to, anyway. most of the time, they don't qualify for me, but they do for a lot of people. you can make up to $1.90 each day on those alone, and that will bring you enough to cashout every month

i wish i had that luck hah. i do the PTC one daily, though.

it wouldn't be stupid to get one. i think it would help you learn to be responsible with your money. just be careful with it...but people can make those mistakes at any age lol.

a few words of advice if you do decide to:

i think it's pretty much a standard at a lot of banks, but at mine, they put a $35 overdraft on each charge once you go even a penny over. then, if it's not paid off within a week's time, another $30 holding charge is placed. it can add up quickly, so keep this in mind.

look around at different plans at different banks. i think bank of america has a plan you can tie to a credit card(something i WOULD say is a no-no for you right now), and they will take care of overage charges, as long as you pay what the difference was between the charge and what you had.

a lot of banks are offering student plans. i'm with bb&t, and will be on my student plan until i'm 25.(i'm now 22.) they give you a one-time forgiveness, where you can have one overdraft charge dropped. however, if you make multiple charges while you are already in the hole, they will only take off one of those charges...not ALL of them. this happened with my brother, and he still ended up having to pay around $100.

keep up with your balance really well. most banks have online registers, but the thing is, charges pend for a while a lot of times, and at a lot of banks, charges at places like gas station will only show $1 at a time...so it is easy to forget about what you already paid for, if it's not showing up YET. so writing out a balance and making changes asap after each purchase would be a good idea and help you learn how to stay on top of your money.

it could save you some money...save you time, definitely. you are also likely to get exactly what you want, bc closer to christmas, more things will be selling out with all the people wanting them at once. some of the sales aren't really all that great, anyway lol. i guess every penny counts though...which is why i haven't started my shopping yet. i can't afford it, atm. ah, the life of a broke college student lol.
