Off-Topic / Re: Has any one ever been in a car accident?
« on: July 29, 2011, 12:31:06 pm »Message ID: 392977
Yes, I was in a very bad accident back in 2004, but God was merciful and I came out of it without any broken bones or any bloodshed. My brother, his wife and myself were going home after we had been to my grandmother's house after she had passed away and divided her things among 6 kids. We were on Highway 57 in Illinois and hadn't gone but maybe 50 miles when a tire had a blow out and started to pull us off of the highway. My brother's wife was driving and she began to apply the brakes. We were slowing down but not fast enough. We were heading straight into a parked semi-tractor sitting on the side of the highway. My sister-in-law turned the steering wheel hard and we went into a spin and landed on the other side of the highway facing sideways as we looked up we could see the grill of an 18 wheeler heading straight towards us and just like that he hit our car and knocked us off of the highway. We went air-borne and came down the side of a ravine and rolled over several times. When we stopped we were all in shock but thankful to be alive and for God's angels watching out for us!

I also love Law & Order SVU and Criminal Intent. I love to watch how they solve the crimes and get the perpetrator(s) who committed it.

Suggestions / Re: Paid to Watch Commercials

:)  I belong to a couple of sites I use to make extra cash and they have 5 videos a day you can watch and they pay 2 cents each. The way it works is they play a video and during the video 2 numbers will appear on the side of the video and at the end of the video it asks you to put in the 2 numbers to receive credit. If you are not correct you have the option of moving on to the next one without getting paid or watch it again and put in the correct numbers to receive credit for watching it.

I have received payments via Pay Pal from many web sites I have joined to make extra cash like FC and I have never had a problem with them. It is the biggest payment processor around. It is the only one Ebay uses for payments and deposits.l

No, it's because Satan has blinded the eyes of people where they believe this is normal and the media has shoved it down our throats to accept it or else you are the problem, not them. The Bible says in the last days men will call evil good and good evil and we certainly are living in those days today.

Off-Topic / Re: Collecting Coupons
« on: July 29, 2011, 11:39:45 am »Message ID: 392937
Yes, I collect coupons. In this economy it is the one way you can save money. Especially if you go to a store that double your coupons. I look at all the ads and see what's on sale and then I match the product with a coupon(s) that I have to save even more money. I buy the Entertainment book every year becuz they always have Shop N Save coupons where you save $5 when you buy a $50 Gift card. So, when I go I use that and every other Thursday the have a special if you spend $50 you get $10 off. So I use that combined with my Entertainment coupon and it's like getting $15 worth of Free groceries! Can't knock that! But I will never go dumpster diving for coupons. I don't care how much I can save. My dignity is worth much more than that to me.

I don't agree with the person who said we have moved past as far as religion being the law. God's Word has not changed and it never will, but what has changed is man's attitude towards God's Laws. In the Old Testament God said that it is an abomination for a man to lie with another man, and since He hasn't changed his mind I have to assume that is still his belief. Therefore I am against same sex marriages because it violates God's Law, which we will all be judged by.
As a Christian I have a duty to love the things my master loves and to hate the things that he hates. Now, I am not saying God hates gays because he doesn't. He loves them just like he does everyone. Did it ever occur to people why God created Adam and Eve, man and woman, and not Adam and Steve, man and man? It was because this was his plan for man to populate the earth, God told Adam and Eve to go forth and multiply, which they did. If he created a man for Adam how would they be able to multiply? Simply, they wouldn't be able to and they would both just die.
I don't know why they call the homosexual lifestyle "Gay", because a lot of them are miserable being this way and carry a lot of guilt and shame, and even live double lives to prevent people from finding out they are gay. How can you be happy when you are ashamed of who you are? I also don't believe that people are born this way either.

I do collect coupons and you really can save a big chunk of change by using them. I subscribe to several web sites that offer coupons. You just click on the ones you want and print them out. Now, there are some stores that will not accept internet printed coupons. Dollar General is one of them where I live but Walmart and Kmart always accept them. If you would like the sites I use just reply to this post.
I refuse to dumpster dive or look in trash cans. I do have some dignity I would like to keep. lol
