I can see both sides on this one.  My husband and I both had kids before we got together.  I stay home with the kids, he works.  We have NEVER used government assistance. We make it work.  His ex, on the other hand,  just keeps on popping them out, and on the last one had to figure out which of 5 guys was the father was.  She purposely works as little as possible and uses all the government assistance she can get.  People like her should get her tubes tied. It just makes me sick.  But there really are people out there that can take care of several kids and not need government assistance.
