Support / Re: Referal bonuses denied

They take the duplicate IP addys very seriously, so, unfortunately, whether it be intentionally or unintentionally, your referral is likely a casualty and will not be reversed.  Just learn from it and try to avoid breaking any of the rules even by a little bit.  You don't want to get *YOUR* account blocked.  There's alot of opportunity here, but don't veer too far off course! :)

Don't create fake accounts, don't create fake IPs, don't send mass emails unless you know who you're contacting, don't use a bot to blast email, don't use MTurk or other pay per piece types of sites to "pay" people to sign up....

Advertising in a signature (where allowed) or on your personal page of Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LiveJournal, etc, etc is fine.  FC encourages you to advertise & get the word out about their site.  The more members you have, the more attractive you become to future advertisers, the more offers we have to complete! :)

At work, I'm using IE 6.0 and it works fine.  Clear your cookies, temp files, cache, etc on IE.  You might also want to check for any blockers.  Have you tried IE on a diff system?

Frankly, it may take a little more than 2-3 weeks bc the admins are completely SWAMPED!  They do their best to get it credited before the end of the next month, but it does take time to get to all the submissions, verify the posts and get it paid to you.  Patience is key for these things. :)

You should be perfectly fine!  They provide the banners for a reason - to advertise!!!  It's not like you're creating a bunch of fake emails on fake IPs to create fake accounts, so good luck to ya!

I'm sorry.  :(  Try sending an email to the support team to see if they can find out what the problem is.

I agree -- $7000 is a lot of money, but that much is kind of a red flag especially since you've *GOT* to cashout w/in 6mos or you lose the earnings.  A lot of referrals are indeed possible, as I have a number of them myself, but I've pretty much exhausted my supply at this point.  Glad to know the admins really do penalize those that abuse the system. :)

I got the pharmacy card in the mail and didn't get credit for it.  I also downloaded, installed & used Babylon but it didn't credit either.  I haven't tried e-fax yet.  As for the Facebook promo & screenshot, I've heard those take a while like the posting credit.  You did put in the request for those, right?  I think there's a form you have to submit like for posting in the forum.

Excellent summary Alyia!  Wish someone had summed it up that well when I first started! :)

By the way, bublez09, when you're filling out that form to request payment for your 30 posts remember this too:
  • You will only get paid once per month for forum posts with a minimum of 30 posts not for EVERY 30 posts you make.  If you post 30 times you're eligible for the bonus but if you post 1000, you're still only eligible for a single payout of $3 per month.
  • Another common issue is that the form requires you to provide a sampling of your posts and sometimes that's not as easy to find.  Just click on the "PROFILE" link and at the bottom of your summary there's a section labeled "Show the last posts of this person".  Click there and you will be able to see all of your posts.  Just copy & paste necessary information from there.
  • Finally, be sure that at least some of your posts are in some way  helpful to meet the "contributory" requirement.  Don't just make a bunch of "Yeah, me too!" comments, add some value to the conversation to get your credit!  Not all of them have to be contributory, but at least some of them.

Good Luck!!

Keep on working on it ammielo23!  You'll get there!  I meant to cash out to get paid in Sept as a bday present to myself, but I missed the deadline. :(  So, I'm going to aim for cashing out in Sept to get paid in Oct...can't forget this time, though or I'm going to start losing $$ bc they expire 180d after earned and I completed the 1st on 03.29.09!  Good luck to everyone!!

FusionCash / Re: Question about referrals

All of my referrals have had to complete a non-PTC offer like the daily to get credit for me.  As for when it credits to you, I think it's based on when they get credited for the offer completed.  So far, mine have credited in about 24 hours.  Good Luck!

Well, well...looks like it's never too late & you're never too old to learn something new, huh, OldBuddy?  :P  j/k!  Actually, I read the same thing but didn't think much of it until I started using Firefox at home and realized I wasn't having any problems using IE at work.  I don't know if it's just the surveys or not, but I try not to stray far from IE for this stuff.

hotstufflikey - you're just saying that you liked it & suggesting it be re-run w/ the suggested changes, right???  You're not announcing that it's currently underway or anything???  I went to the Contests/Promotions forum and didn't see anything, but I'm with you - it'd be nice! :)

Panda Xprass - go to the contests/promotions forum and the original thread is there announcing the rules & stuff.  You can't reply to it, but the info is still there!

Yeah, someone else reminded me not all that long ago, so I checked the rules and yes, you've gotta cash out within 180 days from the issue date.  My question is - do you have to REQUEST the cashout w/in 180 days or does have to be ISSUED w/in 180 days????
