Yes, he was sentenced to 3 to 10 years but how long will he really do time?  He was also designated as a sexually violent predator. The designation means that he will be required by law to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and be subject to the most stringent requirements a sex offender can incur.

I like cheese and pepperoni on pizza. Hard to believe that pizza has been around since
1889. The story that holds to honour the Queen consort of Italy, Margherita of Savory, the Neapolitan pizzamaker Raffaele Esposito created the Pizza Margherita, a pizza garnished with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil to represent the national colors of Italy as on the Italian flag.

The month of September signals the end of summer, the beginning of autumn and the start of a new school year and football! I live in Texas and in September we have Grapefest, it's a grape harvesting and wine festival that features grape stomping contest, wine tasting and live music.

Between the DNA tests and the lie detector tests, I think his show is ridiculous!  It's hard to believe the first episode aired on September 9, 1991 and it's still on the air!

Health authorities commonly recommend eight 8 ounce glasses, which equals about 2 liters, or half a gallon so according to that no I don't drink enough water. I'll have to remember the 8x8 rule.

I actually do. I read a article online that the FBI recommends that you do cover your webcam so people who don't have authority to look at me...DON'T!

I always unplug my computer during a thunderstorm since it poses a risk of power surges and spikes caused by lighting strikes hitting the electrical grid. Power outages are also a problem, each time power is interrupted it's like yanking the power cord on your PC. Cutting power to your PC without properly shutting it down, can cause all sorts of things to happen...open and unsaved files can disappear and data can be corrupted. It's not uncommon for a PC to refuse to boot up after one of these incidents, requiring time consuming OS repair or re-installation to get back up and running.

Off-Topic / Re: Growing up did you attend public school, or private school?
« on: September 18, 2018, 01:13:44 pm »Message ID: 1238292
I went to public school. I researched online and they said a few of the differences between public and private school is class size, and student to teacher ratios, is considerable. In public schools, the average class size is 25-30 kids, compared to 19 kids per class in private school. Also private schools comes out on top with ACT test scores.

I agree with the others that said check with your Dr before starting any diet.  There are some benefits being on the Paleo Diet.  Increased energy, more antioxidant-rich foods, less inflammation, more muscle, improved brain health and lower cholesterol levels.  Good luck to you and your son if you do try the diet!

I can read a map but I always seems to have a outdated one.  I need to remind myself to buy a new one when they are published. The Turin Papyrus Map is sometimes characterized as the earliest known road map.  Drawn around 1160 BC!!  :o

Off-Topic / Re: Painting Kitchen Counter Tops
« on: September 15, 2018, 05:05:31 pm »Message ID: 1237930
I didn't know this could be done so I did a search and found that they sell countertop paint kits. They make is sound simple enough, if you are painting over a laminate countertop, then you will need to sand down the surface.  Wipe away remaining dust, then dry the countertop before painting the countertop with a primer and paint roller.  Apply one to two coats of paint and then seal the surface with polyurethane after the paint has dried. Good luck!  I'm sure they'll turn out amazing.

I probably will read it. It seems like she lead a very complex life. Her memoir, "In Pieces" was rated 3 out of 4 stars. and goes on sale Sept 18.  It was actually written by Sally herself.

RIP Bill Daily. I loved his 2 main characters that he played.  Major Roger Healy of I Dream of Jeannie from 1965 to 1970 and Howard Borden Of The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978.  He requested no funeral and just wanted his loved ones to have a party!

I haven't been to the library in years.  I just realized the library has been around a lot longer then I thought. The first free public library supported by taxation in the world was the Peterborough, New Hampshire Town Library which was founded on April 9, 1833.  Who knew, not me.
