I am also of the opinion that Christmas has become more of a secular holiday revolving around family and togetherness and being appreciative of what you have and helping others that maybe don't have as much.
I don't think Jesus would mind so many people the world over taking this time to be giving and loving and helping others regardless of whether or not they practice one religion or another. I think the spirit behind the celebrations is what ultimately counts.
