i'm listening to come back home by lisa loeb. not really a loeb fan but there's this awesome channel on the xm radio channels on directv called the coffeehouse. its singers/songwriters and acoustic rock and it features awesome acoustic versions of great songs, sometimes by the most unexpected singers. like ziggy marley and jack johnson singing cry cry cry. its awesome!!!

this topic is just like those t-shirts with a bunch of writing but you get a few words in and you realize its not saying anything but you keep reading just in case it says something and then it calls you an idiot for standing around reading a shirt about nothing. its like the seinfeld of t-shirts and this is the seinfeld of threads.

it hit about 96 here today, too hot for me, but i spent most of it in my comfortable 77 degree house. cali  is beautiful, and its great to be just 35 minutes from a beach (and cooler weather, usually) but central air is a must!!!

a month ago i would have had a list a mile long, but my husband and i went on this health kick, not to mention a budget kick, and that meant so long subway, byebye burger king, and hit the road jack in the box (just a few of the ones i used to frequent) but what husband doesn't know is i still get my fast food fix every other saturday. i go out with my sister and its sonic all the way. a chicken club toaster and a strawberry lemon slush to get me through the next 13 days of healthy food... not to mention having to cookit.   ;D

Off-Topic / Re: does anyone feel like?

i'm new to all these kinds of things and am very wary of anything that asks for a credit card but a friend who's on another site says that you have to spend money to make money so i'm considering trying one of those offers. does anyone have one to recommend... something with a free trial, so that (hopefully) i can cancel before i'm charged if i don't want it? thanks in advance

my sister and brother started saying "my butt" to everything. like, i'd ask if they saw a certain movie, and they'll answer "my butt did". and that particular phrase stuck with me so i started saying it, then my husband picked it up from me, and now all the guys at his work say it too

FusionCash / Re: Oh this is so frustrating
« on: July 06, 2009, 04:12:12 pm »Message ID: 67356
oh, i'm feeling that frustration too. its bad enough when you start a survey and a few questions in you're told you don't qualify. its even worse when you get into a survey, put in 10 minutes and answer a bunch of questions and then you're told you don't qualify. what a waste of time!

FusionCash / Re: Promotion suggestions?

i love the idea of more daily offers. that's most of what i've been able to do. and the paypal option for payment is a great idea, or make it possible to pay for the offers out of the money we've already earned. i think more people would take part in the offers that require us to pay if said payment was coming out of our earnings instead of our pockets.

Off-Topic / Re: Does anybody use inbox dollars?
« on: July 06, 2009, 04:04:05 pm »Message ID: 67352
i'm on inbox dollars and send earnings but its not that great because they're the same so if you complete an offer on one you can't do it on the other, and you're more likely to be disqualified from surveys. i like fusion cash and cash crate the most, and unique rewards is kinda cool. only been doing these for about a week so haven't seen much money, and haven't been able to cash out anywhere yet but i'm looking forward to it. every little bit helps, right?

everyone's gonna think i'm dumb for asking this but i've already admitted that i know nothing about computers and tech stuff, but what are cookies and how do i clear them? mozilla firefox... huh? and you think your banner looks pathetic, i don't even know how to put up a banner in the first place.

i'd like to hear some of that advice, too. i've made about $10 in a week, but as i can't sign up for anything that costs money, its like pennies in a jar. whats the secret of all the people raking in the big bucks? please share!!!

Offers / Re: are you serious?!
« on: July 06, 2009, 03:41:54 pm »Message ID: 67340
i've encountereed that quite a bit over the past few weeks. it usually my age or ethnicity that disqualifies me. what i don't get is, on other survey sites, why do they even send you those surveys? if a company is looking for 40+ year old women's opinions, and i'm registered as a 27 year old,  then why do i even get an invite to the survey? i feel like its their way of getting as much feedback as they can without having to pay everyone. so frustrating!!!!    :BangHead:
