For it or against it?

I'll admit that politically I am a bit of a tree hugger.  But even I don't think this is awful.  My friends that work at a steel mill must take a drug test to collect a paycheck.  I don't think it's out of line to ask someone to take a drug test to collect government checks as well.

It has to be fair though and not racist, so old folks gotta pee clean too.  A big argument might be "What about the kids? Don't make them suffer because the parents are on drugs?"  I don't know a good solution to that.  I would just say that if a parent can't stay off drugs long enough to collect a check to feed/house her kids, then maybe the kids Are better off somewhere else.

Well, the Westboro Baptist Church is protesting a soldier's funeral in my hometown Wednesday.  I was going to dress up like a big gay biker and hug them as I film. Any better ideas?

Right away I will say to be fair that I am a tree hugging liberal.  I plan to vote democratic.

If you plan to vote Republican because you are against government programs or spending... That's just an opinion that I'll never be able to convince you that you are wrong for having.

BUT, Are you going to vote Republican because you feel God wants you to?  Please explain.

I happen to believe that it is gross that gay couples are not allowed to get married.

If anyone can tell me a good reason, WITHOUT REFERENCING "THE BIBLE", I might try and see things your way. 

Your religious beliefs are fine. We have separation of church and state in America. Should churches be forced to allow Gay marriages? Absolutely not in my opinion. But why are there laws against it?

A few people I refereed said they could not register because of a problem with the captcha.  Is it only working for certain browsers?  What should I tell them to help them register?

There was a summit to prevent bullying this week. A summit. 

This is not a new or growing issue.  It hasn't got any worse than it was 60 years ago.  It is NOT 'running rampant'  or out of control.

Every single cheesy sitcom (Saved by the bell, Growing Pains, Leave it to Beaver, you name it) has dealt with bulling. In every case the solution was to STAND UP TO THE BULLY!!!!

We are becoming way too sensitive as a people and the male gender is evaporating.  Dodge ball has been outlawed many places and tee ball doesn't keep score.  The only refreshing thing is that it seem the recent trend is for these "victim" to just kill themselves instead of shooting up their school.

Ok, here is a hypothetical situation but:

What if something horrible happened to you? Like you were assaulted or raped.  And to get over the traumatic experience you turned to Christianity and the bible? THEN, you found out that the bible condones the act of rape?  Would you feel betrayed?  Would you question how you could ever blindly follow something that condones possibly the most horrific thing one human could do to another?

Has anyone experienced this? It's where you're having a nightmare... trying to wake up but can't.. you can't move and you try to yell out but cannot.

I have read a lot of articles about it. The explanations range from a chemical released by your body during REM that slightly paralyzes you so you can rest to Demons trying to steal your soul and pretty much everything in between.

Has anyone had this happen though?

I get it. Gays are evil and abortion makes the baby Jesus cry. But now global warming is a myth created by the devil? Really? Really?

Do you Christians think you are running out of ways to look crazy?  We still think it is funny that you think Jesus is coming back and that God is everywhere and all that. Stick to that.  And also "it's not Adam and Eve, it's Adam and Steve."  GOLD! We still think you are crazy, don't worry.  I mean you still have the "God put Dinosaur bones in the ground to test our faith" card to play.
